I think it's less 'trans men are the main readers/writers' and more 'trans men barely get to see ourselves represented and are drawn to deptions of trans men regardless of fetishization'. It's basically impossible to find trans porn that isn't fetishized! If there was porn which featured trans men topping I'd be reading it! (I'm already writing it). But there isnt, so trans men end up in spaces which are predominantly by and for cis women.

It's always c4"t", always basically a perisex estrogenized vagina slapped on a man with nothing else, no term changes either. Always piv, always bottoming, often breeding kink. Never topping, never tdick, never anal anyway.

I don't think its representation in fandom to have a body "like" mine be considered a porn trope, quick fap material, whatever you wanna call it.

It also often leads to feminizing which is often untagged. Again, language is nearly never varied. Always "pussy", always "clit", and I'm meant to believe EVERY person writing "(C)waV" fics is not only a trans man, but also only ever uses those terms? Nah fuck this I'm done being charitable.

I need people who aren't a trans demographic to stop posting smut about said demographic until they learn. This applies to all smut with trans hcs though.

It got me so pissed I am writing myself. T4T, meta dick, intersex trans man if not multiple. Being the change I want to see and specifically writing not only for myself but for other guys like me.

There often seems to be this weird emphasis on how feminine the trans character is, and like. Zero emphasis on any masculine traits or effects of t. Like the character most often bottoming is usually the smaller more 'feminine' one at the best of times, and then it gets even more emphasis when theyre written as trans. Regardless of what the actual character is like too!

One of my favorites in fic is where the cis character will ask what terminology the trans character wants for their genitals, the trans character not replying, and the cis character going on to use pussy/clit/ect lol (Ive personally encountered that scenario more than i have ones where the trans character uses terms like dick and hole, and i hope that's not indicative of a wider trend lol).

So I not only found out very recently but I also can't speak for intersex people with different bodies besides saying it's fucked up how all our fandom "rep" is always just bigenital porn and intersexist tropes about ambiguous/mixed [idk If those are the right terms tho. I mean sex traits from both development pathways that are mixed and co exist.] genitalia, and even if it wasn't fandom "rep" of all intersex people I'd still say it's fucked up, it doesn't need to affect or include me to matter.) and the three times I saw hcs of intersex characters not written by me, they were obv all smut, one was close to an intersex variation, under-described but a possible one, and the author was respectful when given pointers. One was a genital swap mid smut tagged as intersex, author did remove the tag after my comment but my comment went with it (I find it more as an attempt to cover their ass and pretend the tag wasn't there but maybe I'm petty), the last one I didn't even skim to check because of the other tags included, with the assumption it was bigenital porn because of those tags.

For the record, that doesn't mean you can't have smut of intersex characters, but fandoms often don't actually write about an intersex body despite using the tag, and I assume it's written by a perisex person unless stated otherwise. Though I don't consider intersex people incapable of that same behavior, as we're still people, not as "rare" as the establishment thinks, and can still perpetuate harm about our own demographic, I just think most who are aware they're intersex, don't do that on account of their experiences.

There is very little respectful depictions of varsex people in smut, even in fandom. As much as fandom spaces like to act like they're progressive, there's unaddressed fetishism and other types of bigotry many authors still hold onto to the point it's "fandom culture" and calling it out is "yucking someone's yum"

And I'll also make it clear, we deserve to have bodies like ours described in smut, like any other demographic.

I'm taking steps to get the rep I always wanted out there because there's people like me who would probably feel really seen through it.

But smut shouldn't be the only means for fandoms to depict intersex bodies. There's means to meaningfully weave intersex people's experiences into a story. Medical abuse, harassment for simply having traits that pericis society scorns, confusion around ones body not developing or looking like everyone else's, impostor syndrome, internalized intersexism, ECT.
