Day

Dot had just left his last class of the day and was headed outside to stretch his legs. It had already been a long day, and he had accidentally fallen asleep in his last class in a weird position, so his body felt a bit stiff as well.

He let out a sigh and bent back, stretching his arms up, enjoying the fresh air. The leaves on the trees had already started to turn yellow, and the breeze carried that reminder, making him shiver even with his jacket.

"Going for a walk?" The voice made his body jerk, stiffening up for a split second until he realized who spoke. "(Name)! I already spotted you before-" he rubbed his nose, his eyes looking everywhere but the boy in front of him.

"Is that why you jumped 10 feet in the air?" "I did not." The snort that came from him made it hard for Dot not to melt. "Want a walking buddy? I could use an excuse to stretch my legs a bit." (Name) tilted his head, waiting for a response while Dot seemed to stare dumbly at him.

Him? (Name) wanted to walk with him? He quickly cleared his throat and straightened up, puffing his chest out. "Sure, if that's what you want." The two began to walk to nowhere in particular, mostly in silence. Though Dot would occasionally point out something he thought was interesting.

As he was looking for another topic in the hopes of making (name) laugh again, he spotted one of his buddies, Finn, with his own partner. The blonde had taken off his jacket and given it to them. That's an idea! Surely he'd immediately fall for Dot with a gesture like that!

"Hey, you must be cold! You can have my jacket, you probably need it more anyway..." Dot had already removed his jacket and held it out to (name). "Dot, I'm not..." "No need to thank me! It's the least I can do! Go on, take it!" (Name) sighed at the action but took the coat with a raised eyebrow. Dot was already shivering. "Are you sure you don't need this back?"

Dot wore a brave face with a faltering smile. "Yep! Just fine! Don't want you catching a cold after all!" (Name) shook his head and continued on with Dot. The rest of their short walk was mostly calm, save for Dot's chattering teeth. He managed to make (name) laugh two more times, a win in his books! Once they made it back to the dorms and (name) returned his jacket, he gave him one more gift: a quick kiss to the cheek. "Thank you, Dot."
