once people realize that krusie and suselle are similar pairings, i will finally know peace…
so THAT just happened...
i really wanna know how people who think that suselle is forced would rewrite them and why/how they think they’re forced… genuinely…
and actually since i’m here : why is susie-noelle forced but kris-susie isn’t? their circumstances are very similar :
knew each other before chapter 1 -> had mutual positive feelings towards each other before chapter 1 -> got to know each other better in the dark world -> started becoming closer in the light world -> though they haven’t hung out for long, they care about each other very VERY much
is it just because we were there with kris and susie the entire time? …though we were there for every susie-noelle moment too (outside of the WR moments in chapter 2 and 5).
not saying that susie-noelle is the most perfect dynamic in the game* (that’s what susie-ralsei and susie-lancer are /lh). but i just don’t understand what people actually WANT from them? or how they’re different from the other relationships between kris and co… i think they’re decently written (like most of the other relationships in this game) and are very sweet and cute (like most of the other relationships in this game).
* personally i would’ve added a reason to WHY noelle thinks susie “can’t so bad”. maybe add some dialogue of noelle talking about something nice susie has done to/for her. like how mk talks about susie kicking their “handball” into undyne’s cop car… it’d establish something for their relationship and for susie as well. THERE’S ALSO the “you’re not weak at all! you have so much going on…” dialogue susie said in chapter 5 that i would like context for… why? does susie think that? there’s no reason (that we know) that susie would think noelle is strong and not weak. there’s also the complete glossing over the “noelle liked susie when she a ‘jerk’” that i’m not… a fan of. noelle romanticizing the violent side of susie is something that fascinated me for a while (if you couldn’t tell). i think it’s a wasted opportunity to not at least have susie wince at this… or SOMETHING? IDKKK?? this idolization of susie is what a lot of her friends (not just noelle) do and it’d be nice to have that get addressed as well actually. (COME OONNN CHAPTER 6 COME OOONNN DO ME NIICEEEE)

i feel like a killjoy for saying this but every time i see angsty fanart of kris being bitter and angry and resentful and jealous about suselle being a thing it’s like Okay I really do not think they would do that. I can ☝️ think of a character that would and does, though

i’m so glad i don’t interact with the deltarune fandom outside of who i follow and who follows me. if i started seeing people say that kruxsie/krixselle (OR?? SUSXELLE?? NOW???? I’M BEING SERIOUS???????) was “hetero-coded” or whatever, i would have to intervene.

the side A/side B lake scenes in deltarune chapter 5 have such well-executed contrasting visuals. Susie picking Noelle up and carrying her as she walks into the lake so Noelle never touches the water VS Noelle dragging Kris into the lake with her and causing both of them to drown. Susie asking Noelle if she wants her to stop before walking into the lake VS Noelle pulling Kris with her even if the player commands them to stop. Noelle deciding that if she's with Susie, staying in this town isn't so bad VS Noelle demanding that Kris help her cross the lake. I really like how those 2 scenes contrast
