Opinion
Not to be confused with "Good Boy (2022)"
This movie is carried by it's gimmick but it's such a wonderful gimmick it didn't bother me one bit. We experience the entire story from the perspective of a very expressive dog and i will warn you that if you don't like dogs or don't find them very endearing this movie is probably not for you. The actual story is as basic as it gets and the acting (aside from the dog) is very mediocre, but it's insanely well filmed and uses it's dog-protagonist in extremely creative and fun ways. Some scares work well, some are cheap and awful, but it's such a unique point of view and made with so much creativity that i really really enjoyed it. The gimmick absolutely outweighs the actual substance but hey, it worked for me!
