like let’s say you have seriously chronic as fuck fatigue but are generally ambulatory. maybe even to the degree where you find yourself bed bound sometimes as soon as you wake up. be gentle with yourself, but this still applies. try to get out of bed. if you can’t, or or simply can’t bring yourself to for some reason. that’s an X for now but an X isn’t a negative thing in this case at all, you just didn’t perform an action that was a beneficial action because it wouldn’t have been beneficial for you at that time or you couldn’t bring yourself to do it. which is Fine because you tried. i don’t like this mentality about disability because i believe it survives on the belief that giving something a shot and “failing” is more humiliating or indicative of wicked character than just resigning to not giving anything a shot. what the fuck is up with that?
