i praised it before and i'll praise it again:
if you like fallout you should play Kenshi
if you like rimworld you should play Kenshi
if you like the idea of being thrown into a decaying alien world as a lone wanderer (other scenarios too) and working your way up to toppling empires in a game that doesnt pressure you to do anything in any particular way: you should play Kenshi
if you like settlement building you should play Kenshi
if you do not like settlement building you should play Kenshi
if you like games that have a dedicated modding scene that improves upon the vanilla game by leaps and bounds, you should play Kenshi
you should play Kenshi
if you like to gamble your cats away to a robot, leave town only to be jumped by a band of starving bandits who run you through with improvised blades, steal your food and leave you to die until you miraculously regain consciousness, patch yourself up, and realize you gained XP for getting the shit beat out of you, you should play kenshi
usually when people say something like "kenshi is the only video game ever" theyre making a joke or using a rhetorical device but in the case of kenshi and kenshi alone, it is probably actually true. in that you could probably just throw all your other games into the ocean andplay kenshi forever. the ONLY reason i havent done this is that it is poorly optimized and even wit all the performance fixes available i stil cant run it well enough to play it reliably on the microwave i use as a desktop computer
Kenshi is currently 60% off on steam until July 27. 12 dollerydoos in the US.
