Quick PHB References
Each Ability Score is accompanied by a modifier here is the table for that system.
Pg.13
Quick D&D 5e PHB References
For all those who are terrible at finding things or are just too lazy. As I learn the rules and the game I'll be using the #quick phb references tag to share important and interesting items from the PHB.
Howling Stones, a type of stationary earth elemental. Lore is under the cut. I have to say, I really enjoyed writing about possible uses of them.
The artwork used is by Roy3D.
If you’d like to see more 5e homebrew, consider supporting me on ko-fi!

Totally going to use this!
A magical girl series where the girls transform into their DnD characters.
Imagine being a typical shojo super villain and seeing an anime girl transform into a fucking Orc.
Not even a cute anime Orc, just a realistically drawn Warcraft Orc named Mo’Gar Skullcrush or something.
None of the girls in the group transform into cute Elves. It’s just Lady Stormbeard the Dwarf ranger. Skeletal Lich Bellinde Bloodless. GrhhuHghh the Goblin cleric. Every villain they meet is fucking terrified.
Please! This is the only time I'd watch a magical girl anime.

Pickpocketing at it's best
We ran a modified 2nd ed. game several years back, and we deliberately were trying to give our DM an aneurysm.
Party was lost in a swamp, the thief and ranger scouting ahead of the party. The cleric, bard (me), paladin and a lawful good necromancer (that’s another story) not far behind.
DM: the rogue notices something moving up ahead. The ranger moved to his position to notice a 9’ stone golem treading slowly in the same direction.
Thief: has the golem noticed us?
DM: no
Thief: I want to get closer *Rolls 18*
DM: the thief utilized his stealth and managed to get directly behind the golem.
Thief: I want to pickpocket the golem…
Party: how can you pickpocket a 5 ton walking, somewhat sentient pile of stones?
DM: ok, roll for it.
*Thief rolls a natural 20, everyone sees the DM trying to figure this one out*
*DM rolled twice, then pulled a random item of of the Box of Many Things*
DM: you manage to successfully pickpocket a stone golem, and found a Horn of Bubbles. The golem quickly stops and turns to see the ranger approaching. You, thief, are still hidden from his view.
Thief: I blow the Horn of Bubbles!
*Everyone is confused, even the DM*
DM: roll twice, thief
*Thief rolled a 16 to blow the Horn*
DM: thousands of large Bubbles blow from the Horn, causing visibility to drop to 5ft. Roll again
*Both the DM and thief roll, Thief rolls another natural 20, the DM a 2, then a 1*
DM: okay, the golem sees the bubbles and gets distracted, forgetting about the approaching ranger. The golem then sits is the swamp, popping random bubbles in the air. The party then sees what looks like a smile on its face as it continues to pop.
Thief: I think I’m gonna keep him… And call him Big Poppa…
*The party cracks up, the DM now has to write up an NPC sheet for an oversized golem*
living islands
That is so cool! Do they eventually migrate into the water in part because of the massive weight of their shells? So their surface area allows the water to help support them and their poor knees?
Also do they travel? Or do they root themselves in place? They’re so cool!!!!
yes!! the ocean lessens their heavy load. Furthermore, they seem to enjoy seeing new places but by the time they’ve reached maturity they move so slowly you can hardly tell they’re moving. this not only conserves energy but also gives the biome on their shells time to adapt to different temperatures!
What’s the average life span?
Hard to say. You’ll never find their bones because even when they die, the islands live on.
I bet @hexcoderose would like this
This would be an interesting encounter.

This is some cool stuff.
The Deck of Certain Things, or: The Joke Item That Almost Destroyed my Campaign
[by u/astonishingantman / reddit]
“I created this thing over two years ago as a joke item. One of my players became convinced that I was trying to trick them, and that it was a real Deck of Many Things. His paranoia spread, and the party nearly killed each other over it. After some impromptu group therapy, they decided to leave the Deck be and never speak of it again.
So now you get to use it. Have fun!”
Deck of Certain Things
Wondrous Item, Legendary
A set of 10 cards that come in a small box. “Deck of Certain Things” has been crudely carved into the box’s lid in Common.
Before you draw a card, you must declare how many cards you intend to draw and then draw them randomly (you can use a d10 to simulate the deck). Any cards drawn in excess of this number have no effect. Otherwise, as soon as you draw a card from the deck, its magic takes effect. Each card must be drawn no more than 1 hour after the previous draw. If you fail to draw the chosen number, the remaining cards fly from the deck and take effect all at once. Once a card is drawn it cannot reappear.
Once all 10 cards have been drawn, a pair of Gloves of Thievery appear in the deck box, along with a note thanking the Deck’s owner for the fun.
The cards are decorated with shoddy-looking artwork, seemingly scribbled with crayon. They are:
Acorn: 3d8 terrified squirrels are transported to your location from elsewhere on the material plane.
Fireworks: Your weapon explodes into a shower of brightly-colored glitter. It reforms in 1 hour.
Prospector: A wooden chest containing 10,000 pieces of counterfeit gold drops at your feet. The coins show a winking jester on both sides.
Liar: For the next 1d12 hours, telling a lie causes your trousers to ignite, dealing 1d6 points of fire damage.
Honey Jar: Summons a friendly sentient bear named Sigmund, who acts as an apothecary, selling the party potions from his backpack. He vanishes after 1d20 minutes.
Wallflower: You instantly succeed on all Insight checks for 24 hours, but fail all Intimidation checks.
Invitation: An imp appears in a burst of smoke, kicks you in the shins, then vanishes.
Nightmare: All items worn on your person, with the exception of undergarments, turn invisible for 1d4 hours.
Quill: A flameskull appears in front of you, delivers a heartfelt soliloquy, then explodes in a pillar of green flame. All creatures within 5 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d10 fire damage.
Infant: For the next hour your voice is replaced with the shrill cries of a baby. You are unable to communicate through speech or cast spells with a verbal component.

First set of constructs. Whole lot of stuff being made about them right now. Going to take some time to get done. I’ll work on fixing up some of the wording and presentation later. Just wanted to get these out after so long. PDF
This will go a long way to setting up my Construct Campaign with needed enemies and enemy types. TBH I was dreading this part.
The summoning of this hellishly twisted form was successful…
Artist: AleksD9 His focus is mostly Scifi/StarWars but it’s all good.

So i might need several commissions at some point.
I’m building a world and there are a few key features of that world that is hard to convey. Namely the World maps, mega cities, certain main locals and characters.(mainly the first two though) I have tried my hand at cartography and have failed magnificently (rolled a crit 1). So if you know anyone or even multiple people who do the commissions for these types of things send me their info please.
please please please.
