So like. In the magical scenario when a character from fiction is brought to life. Your “life size” your “barbie movie” your “toy story 1” ‘s. What version of the character is brought to life?
Is there knowledge limited to the exact run of that comic you pulled them out of, the page of the book?
Are they the character from the beginning of the book or the end of the book or that specific page number?
If you buy a buzz Lightyear toy from after Zurg is revealed as his father, are his personality and memories different than one from before?
Is the character that is animated’s knowledge limited to the knowledge of the person animating them?
We’ve seen a couple versions of the VR/digital backup instead of an afterlife things.
And sure there’s the critique on capitalism and walled Gardens and our culture’s insatiable need to comodify every little aspect of existence.
But like what if that, but Mario maker (roblox for a younger and older reader).
What about a VR eternity where everybody’s got their own little completely customizable space.
Someone makes a hotel, someone makes a park, someone makes a “prank “ world where you spawn in and fall hours or days until you’re able to quit or hit the single pixel of ground enough to die and respawn.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure is without a doubt a very problematic game. It is also very difficult to accept, if you are a fan of the first game, and especially if you chose to save Chloe in the end.
But you can try to abstract yourself from the roots. Accept that this is a story about Max Caulfield and her attempt to find herself after a bitter loss. Then you can get an amazing emotional adventure, in which there is place for new relationships.
I like the bar worker with a great sense of humor and musical taste. She and Max have a connection at first sight. It's a pity that Amanda plays only a small role in the plot.
Oh god guys, where that’s one person about the fake sifi novel in a dystopian city where there’s drugs like, Ketamine 2 and a supermodel grown in a test tube but only knows how to kill. And the final heist for them to skip this town and jump to a slightly less shitty town and the last line is “are you in?” It was circling around tumblr a while ago.
2025 is my SiFi year...anyone got any good sifi/space opera book recs? Id be forever in your debt
