RANT INCOMING If anyone tells you that someone is talking bad about you behind your back, your response should be, "why are you telling me this?" If this person really had a problem with you, why don't they confront you about it? My advice on dealing with it you might ask? Do nothing. That's right, absolutely NOTHING. Accept the fact that this person is a coward. If a dear friend or acquaintance was the one who told you about the gossip, you may want to make sure this person has your best interests in mind. Most good friends would rather not spread any negative information about you that may hurt your feelings. If this person is involved in the rumors, try to find out why they felt the need to come and tell you, and how they reacted to the rumors. It may be wise to watch this person more closely. Because they may not be as innocent as they try to appear to be. They could be fueling the gossip rather than trying to stop it. If you start to feel conflicted, remember that you're being the better person by not stooping to their level of idiocy. Distract yourself, spend time with positive people, remind yourself how great you are. Most importantly, do not take it so personally. Realize that they're most likely jealous or have poor self-esteem. Rise above it, and you'll lead a happy and thriving life. ✊
