Quick begging post 🙃
My autism diagnosis and my daughter’s cost about $3000. I have about $500 left to pay. I really don’t want other uninsured people to be denied testing becuz I didn’t pay this bill. It’s about 90 days old at this point.
I’m prepared to be hungry and isolated at home in order to pay part of this bill tomorrow.
But if anyone out there has the means to send some grocery or gas money, please Venmo me @theseaandthesun
I plan to pay the balance at the beginning of next month, and probably be in a similar situation. This time I’m spending the month’s food budget, next time will only be a couple weeks of food budget.
I thought I would have food stamps by now, but they said get SSI and come back 🙃 I’ve tried to get a social worker to facilitate access to resources but my local center for independent living hasn’t responded to multiple calls and emails. My local office for Dept of developmental disabilities says sorry you should have been diagnosed before 21
