Long story, more details in the screenshots: XLOV is a queer and ethnically diverse k-pop group, which generally makes them targets, what with fascism at large; ICE is still on the loose in the US, and China has recently passed an ethnic unity law that endangers non-Han Chinese people.
I’m in an Instagram broadcast channel called Evols for East Turkistan. We need help keeping XLOV safe. If you think you have the time and energy to lead the campaign, DM hope_is_umut on Instagram in the next two days to volunteer. She is unable to lead the campaign herself. Even if you can’t volunteer to lead the campaign or she already finds someone, any participation is greatly appreciated! Once we confirm that the campaign has a leader and don’t have to cancel it, the emails will be the important part.
Edit: I’m scared of just taking responsibility for the campaign myself in addition to some other stuff I’m dealing with, I fear I would crumble or mess something up. We can always start another campaign if she cancels, or just protest without one. Bottom line is protecting XLOV
