Following two gap years, during which she had mostly focused on writing her novel, Wednesday Addams had decided to attend University of Salem, Massachusetts. There were, however, certain complications. These mainly stemmed from the fact that her parents, Gomez and Morticia Addams, ran one of the larger crime organizations on the entire east coast from their haunted mansion in New Jersey. And so, there were considerations that needed to be taken into account if she wanted to attend Salem, which was the furthest from her parents she suspected they would allow her to go.

These considerations consisted of, primarily, a bodyguard. --- In which Wednesday and Tyler meet for the first time at a ball. Guess who she chooses to become her new bodyguard?
