And nick tells charlie all about him and charlie is a little bit insecure thinking that maybe nick has a crush on alex but then he goes to visit nick for the first time in uni and nick takes him around to meet all of his friends, and alex is SO excited to meet charlie because "nick is ALWAYS talking about you, omg you have to meet my boyfriend henry, you two will get along so well, he's studying english literature and he wants to be an author and nick said that you might be thinking of getting into publishing?" After that charlie forgets all about his insecurities and he becomes friends with henry and firstprince basically just take nick and charlie under their wings and they become longtime friends
