It’s been a while since I’ve last made a Tokyo Ghoul AU, so here’s Kpop Demon Hunters (Seoul Ghoul? Kpop Ghoul Hunters?)

HUNTR/X: A trio of Kpop idols, is actually a group of undercover Ghoul hunters

Rumi is a hybrid, born from human and a Ghoul, and she wears an eyepatch on her right eye to hide her perpetual Ghoul eye. She never eats human food in front of Mira and Zoey, due to her inability to digest it. Celine (doctor) secretly brings her human flesh to satisfy her hunger, which Rumi hates. Celine is working on a cure for Rumi.

Saja Ghouls: A new successful boy band, is actually a pride of Ghouls that secretly attract fans to eat (no one else knows this but Huntr/x)

Jinu:

Alias: “Tiger”

Kagune: Rinkaku

Jinu is a hybrid, but unlike Rumi, he was “saved” by Gwi-Ma (Ghoul King) and surgically made into a Ghoul. His Ghoul eye is on his left and he wears sunglasses to hide it.

Abby:

Alias: “Beast”

Kagune: Koukaku

Abby is the muscle of the pride but is weak in speed and balance

Romance:

Alias: “Cupid”

Kagune: Ukaku

His Kagune allows him to glide through the air and shoot “arrows” at his enemies, high in speed but weak in stamina

Mystery:

Alias: “The Hound”

Kagune: Chimera (Koukaku/Bikaku)

No one knows what his deal is

Baby:

Alias: “Cub”

Kagune: Bikaku

Baby’s Kagune is the smallest and most fragile of the pride, but he makes up for it in stealth takedowns due to his size

I can’t wait to see your web comic of Captain Planet but if they were bringing Captain Planet again in the form of an animated series, who would be in your dream voice cast if you have one? What’s the backstory for Zarm in your Captain Planet web comic because his design looks cool. How did you get into Captain Planet in the first place?

Personally, I’d love for the Planeteers to be played by new young actors. But if I had to pick existing actors (voice or live action) here’s what I’d probably go with:

Kwame: Kwesi Boakye

Wheeler: Joe Keery (keeping a tradition Wheeler’s VA be named Joe(y))

Linka: Florence Pugh

Gi: Lana Condor

Ma-Ti: (Sorry I don’t know any young actors or actresses from Brazil)

Captain Planet & Captain Pollution: Alex Brightman (I can only tolerate Pollution’s character if Alex Brightman was playing him)

I’d also love some cameos from the OG actors ^^

Zarm was created by Gaia to keep humans in check. That’s all I can say for now. (And thank you! I’m actually redesigning him again rn)

I actually discovered the show from the Nostalgia Critic review of it and it just struck a cord with my tree-hugging child self. It wasn’t until a few years ago when I randomly thought about the show again at work did I decide to revisit it. And my imagination caught fire.

We’re still working on the designs and scripts, and I’ve actually got the first episode casted. Thanks again for your support! ^^
