this is what happens when basic plot points are dragged out for no reason…

Like Sydney getting the Shapiro job offer and them dragging out the reveal of it to the FINALE of season 4, and it not really being satisfying as she doesn’t even get to say it herself

We had to sit through bozzo number 2 getting a girlfriend and all the white people insecurities at the wedding, (Tiff, Michelle, frank, Francine which I didn't had any reason to care at that point) yet apparently any of the black characters having love interest or lives outside the restaurant is too much to ask. The way apparently it was hulu that requested the show to be longer abd they decided to elongated the most boring parts instead of fleshing out the characters and their endings.

Like why do we have multiple scenes of Fak 2 and his girlfriend and we don’t know the name of Sydney’s mother or if Carmy’s dad is dead or alive?!!??!??

wild also that ‘Marcus’s mom’s funeral’ yet not a single interaction shown with one of his relatives when we previously heard he has extended family (Michael Jordan restaurant talk with Sydney s1) and a sibling. Like umm
