Episode 3, 3! Is already Sam giving the contestants brand new presents.

This man made a show just to give his employees money and gifts and trauma. There has been at least four episodes dedicated to just one cast member (Whodunnit for Rekha, Don't Cry for Jess, The Bachelor for Grant, Who Wants to be Jacob Wysocki), several episodes with prizes (Game of Prizes, 3 Secret Samtas) and several just to piss Brennan off.

I'm not American and I haven't dived into their politics, but I know the surface stuff. Like, Epstein owned an island where everything was legal if you paid for it, and after his death the Epstein files contained the names of either his colleagues or clients, basically people involved with him and this situation.

What I don't like, is the speed at which such a serious matter became a meme. A few years ago, if anything serious and/or concerning has surfaced, it would be taken seriously or ignored, and after sometime, ranging from years to a couple months, it would start to be ridiculed and joked about. And that is fine, I myself love dark jokes and tell my share of fucked up shit.

This year, that period fell DRASTICALLY.

Not even a week after I read about P. Diddy my classmates and the posts I saw started using his name as a joke and a synonym for pedophiles (I ain't censoring myself). People from my class started calling each other future P. Diddy, the internet used his name as a verb, but only in unserious situations. He wasn't used as a warning. He wasn't pointed at and belittled, he was used as a stage for humour. The view of him shifted from "an awful man who committed serious crimes against children" to "that guy that slept with children and now I will compare any adult who looks at a child to him for laughs".

The Epstein files are worse. Way worse. It's what's wrong with our world. It's showing that you are above the law, which should be the ruling power, if you can pay for it. And yet, not even a month later, people start incorporating it into jokes.

Even Dropout, whom I dearly respect, had a prompt on their latest game called "Who do you think is in the Epstein files" as a level for a game.

When I started, I had no idea about Woolhaven DLC and when I chose the name for my cult I wanted to lean into my love for the macabre, so I named it "The Divine Rot". It's rot because I gotta kill the other gods and take over their lands (which I didn't do apparently, but now I can take them as followers) and divine because well, the Lamb is a vessel of God.

Well wouldn't you know that, once I started looking into the DLC I read about rot taking the mountain. Like, The Rot.

Well. I failed to notice one of them was a spy. He had a name I never gave to anyone and was a blue cat, a combination I never made. And he has the spy trait, but that's obvious.

Another thing is, they requested to be married to ONE OF MY DISCIPLES. I agreed to it because it was the first couple I would wed and because why not. Meter has been a great follower for me and I'd love for them to get a love life. (Actually they have been strangers before that so I dunno why they suddenly got that urge to marry Meter. Maybe they thought I won't kill the spouse of my disciple.)

To top all that, RIGHT AFTER THE CEREMONY THEY GAINED THE "UNHAPPILY MARRIED" TRAIT.

This bastard came into my cult unannounced with the intention to steal, asked me to be wed with my disciple even without a friendship beforehand, and decided they aren't happy in that marriage right after.

I married my poor poor Meter off to a bastard ((

How should I punish him? He's in prison for now, I can't kill him in the night as I haven't chosen that doctrine. I'm thinking of waiting to meet the fox because it can ask for a follower, and that follower cannot be resurrected afterwards. But in 144 days of playing I've met them twice.

Ya know what I hate mostly about aesthetics? The push for specific products.

If I see another video that says "style this dress goth with me!" And then the person pulls out a very specific product (and I mean type of product, not a sponsor although those go hand in hand) I will lose it. It's so demoralizing to try to look a certain way and think that you will achieve that only with a very specific accessory.

If you can get your hands on those, that's awesome, good for you. But you don't need a garter belt to be goth, you don't need a huge sparkling cape to be whimsy.

It feeds into the "buy our very punk pre-torn jacket!" Businesses and the mutation of alt. The idea that you need very specific items to be someone is very wrong.

When I started my style journey, all I could see are either sponsored or very specific videos. "How to dress whimsigoth!" And instead of showing actual tips how to use clothing you already have to achieve the kind of look you want or what clothing is preferred and can be easily integrated into everyday wear, the creator pulls out a set of top with pants from a specific store #1, an accessory you wouldn't normally find, a thing they got sponsored to show by store #2 and another specific accessory that you have to sell your soul for.

I'm not saying being sponsored or having a closet that caters to your aesthetic is bad, I'm saying don't try to sell it as the only way to look like the style. You don't need a 3 layered skirt with bug prints to be whimsical! Of course it helps and if you can get one (and like it) - get it! If you want to get into goth makeup you don't need to buy a specific pallete with a name like "Dancing in the Darkness", you can start from normal makeup in the right colours or even Halloween makeup (reminder - alt culture made their looks themselves at first. There were no brands for "Goth" or "Punk", they made that themselves).

I got into the whimsigoth aesthetic and man, I felt so bad when I thought I needed this exact type of dress and these rings and that bow. It took me nearly a year to find a way to adapt the aesthetic into my style because actual advice was so scarce it looked like gems when I found it.
