Love working on and teaching crawling. Especially to young people. Here, you can see us having a little fun. She does cartwheels, handstands, back handsprings, and all kinds of cool stuff. Movement can be fun if we allow ourselves to explore outside the rigidity of “3x10” or “5x5” on free weight and machine exercise. Don’t get me wrong. Do this things too. But explore and be curious. Yesterday I got to work with two brothers who were probably 4 and 6 years old. They were watching me like a hawk but their eyes were captivated. They were captivated because this primitive movement is fun. We must encourage movement with the youth and make it fun. Coaches, teachers, and especially parents need to set a standard of physical literacy as they are the role models. So get close to the floor and start crawling. I suggest going to the best of a song. @g365fitnessmn @drjohnrusin @dr.joelseedman_ahp @dj84123 #movement #teachersofinstagram #coach #primitive #primal #chiropractic #medicine #food #injuryprevention #nervoussystem #rpr (at North Suburban Healthcare) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpT1sY0hrpN/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=ep5vvc4aknbt
