Im... definitely not happy with this one. Had no idea how to approach the snout, and now it's kinda got in the way of the entire shape of the face, forcing it to be rounder to fit it in. I've got an idea on how to circumvent this in a 2.0 design, but this is what yall get for now.

Mineru

Very proud of the owl mask accessory, but the face just feels... off. I might wanna try doing what I did for the Tangle and Whisper miis and just outline the face shape to get a better one. I'm also only now realizing I never turned off dating preferences for her lol

Malroth

Even less to say here than with Roxas. Just made two brown shapes with facepaint and done. Messed around with custom eye shapes at least.

Pearl

Very proud of the custom eyes and tentacle hair I made for her. Pro tip: you can turn off the lipstick on the mouths that have them on by default to get completely new mouths, that's how I got this one.

Marina

Was really hard to get her face to look somewhat correct, and I can't make her hair go as far down as it normally does with just facepaint, but I think I did the best I can do on both fronts here.

Piccolo

Pretty simple design, but what I want to highlight is the shirt design I made. Probably one of, if not my best looking work so far IMO

More involved than the last mii with anime hair. Had to take a bit to figure out the gem in the tiara.

The kazoo dinosaur! Probably one of my best looking ones next to Tangle and Whisper. She still looks bald without her bow tho, haven't found what I want to use for it in the shop yet

For those who don’t know, (first play xenoblade 2 its amazing) Zeke Von Genbu is a character that is first introduced as a gag character. He does all this cartoony running around in cutscenes, talks dramatically, isn’t taken seriously, and is generally the butt of the joke. Later, it is revealed that he is actually really strong and all of the cartoon like movement isn’t just for gags, but something he can actually do, and the devs hid it in plain sight.

My theory is this: EVERYONE is Zeke Von Genbu. Everyone has Caine’s administrative reality bending powers, they just don’t know it.

The biggest piece of evidence is Kinger creating the blue butterfly in the gun episode. He says he just “made it up”. This is by far the most blatant use of these powers to create and manipulate, so we already know at least Kinger has the power to create. Now, as revealed in the latest episode, Kinger is a somewhat unique case, as he is largely implied to have ties to, or at least knowledge of, Caine and the Circus itself. However, there is evidence this is not unique to Kinger.

That would be when Jax is teaching Pomni about using the guns. They both are able to just aim the gun wherever, and through a series of ricochets, always hit the target. This is played off as just being cartoon logic they are manipulating, and we can see its progression with Pomni. She starts not really believing in it but tries anyway, getting a successful but not too elaborate trick shot. Later in the episode, she is doing far more insane trick shots. The difference? She believes in it. She is fully confident in her ability to bullshit. They are most potent when the user believes in their perception that they are real. I believe that these two are the same power. Whether it’s manipulating “cartoon logic” or them having access to dev tools, it doesn’t really matter for this theory. Most of this has been somewhat confirmed just by how blatant the butterfly was, but I believe it will have a greater overarching purpose by it’s ties to Abstraction

So what does this have to do with abstraction? Abstraction happens when a person in the circus goes insane and loses themself. My theory is that Abstraction is when these powers go awry. When someone loses perception of their self and their surroundings. They corrupt anyone they touch, which is probably a use of this power. The abstracted monsters are always pulsating, with no concrete form outside of being giant, quadrupedal, and black with many multicolored eyes. The lack of a consistent shape represents the lack of self image. The eyes can be paranoia, needing to look in every direction for danger. The hulking frame of course represents the scale of which such emotions can have. But the very nature and origin of Abstraction may be what is needed to save them.

If Abstraction is caused by unregulated emotional turmoil, than all you need to do to reverse it is calm the Abstracted. I believe the finale of the series will involve someone abstracting, probably Caine or Jax, and everyone has to use these new powers to calm them down. Using the temporary modifiers Caine uses, physically showing them their memories of better times, things like that. They may or may not save the other abstracted in the cellar, I’m not sure if that could fit in pacing wise.

Now, the counter evidence. In episode 3 Kinger talks about how his wife’s abstraction went. He says that the darkness was able to keep her calm. One may think that should have unabstracted her, but it might not be so cut and dry. Speaking from experience, being temporarily calmed by something does very little to abate feelings of hopelessness and despair. That’s the thing about depression, you can be happy and laughing in the moment, but once the moment is gone, so are the good feelings. Just being calmed by the darkness did seem to have an effect on Kinger’s wife though, as it caused her body to be smooth. In fact, the darkness probably helped calm her because it was less stimulation, it was probably just not enough to quell the deeper feelings.

Additionally, I said that abstraction is the result of negative emotions. However, in the latest episode we see Jax in a trance, smiling, and when he wakes up, his eyes look like those on an abstraction. Of course, we don’t know for sure that he was in the middle of abstracting, but it’s largely implied he was (but you never know with this show). If he was, why was he seemingly happy? It was a calm smile, so it’s unlikely to be the sort of stereotypical manic insanity kind of “happy”. I’ll be honest, I don’t have a convincing answer for this. The theory of “everyone has caine’s powers and they do something big with them in the end” isn’t dependent on abstractions being tied to it, but it would certainly feel more satisfying if the big twist was interconnected like that, and the abstraction part is the most “theory” part of the theory. Considering what we’ve seen so far, gooseworx and the writing team absolutely have the skills to pull of an interconnected twist like that. Perhaps Jax’s smile wasn’t one of calm, but of relief? Like he believes he will really be free from his pain, and he gets jolted out of his trance before it can turn into a nightmare? Like using a coping mechanism only for it to be unhealthy and contribute to your problems (kiiinda like how he boils himself and everyone down into archetypes and pushes them away?). It’s possible. But other than that, I’m sorry I got nothing.
