Kinda love how scared miis are in this game. They fear their tiny island being crushed by normal sized food. You can give them a piece of elastic and they look at it with immense horror. They scare each other easily. When truly horrified they just stand still frozen in shock. These are little prey animals to me. I want to protect them from scary things like normal sized steak and haircombs.

My headcanon is that Miis are a sort of parasitic/symbiotic species of shapeshifters that copy likenesses from the minds of humans to gain shelter, food and the chance to safely reproduce. They've in many ways domesticated themselves and do poorly in the wild.
