I’m sorry that she’s seemingly more glad that she’s gotten the first vision she’s had that doesn’t warn of her and him getting killed, and with her jokes about sexual topics being prevalent (not to mention pretty willing to sleep with the guard for food), is it not possible that — just maybe — that Ashley can still feel sexual desire without being a flustered mess when the idea of incestuous sex comes up?

I know that this is a common joke in the fandom but… she’s summoned demons and cannibalized multiple people without a ton of issue, not to mention murder as a child. Andrew has always been the one who has far greater emotional reactions to all of this, and Ashley also has a far more malleable moral compass.

I think the catalyst that proves why she actually wants this kind of relationship is her calls to Julia, where she, among other things, accuses Julia of thinking herself superior just because only one of them can have sex with Andrew and it wasn’t her. These are calls that Andrew, at the very least, wasn’t able to hear for one reason or another. This is emotional, raw, and showcases her insecurity. She wants Andrew to treat her like he treats Julia, like a girlfriend, and that includes sex. To her knowledge, the comment about sex was only ever intended to be heard by Julia, and it doesn’t really help in the harassment aside from showing how desperately she wants Julia gone.

i mean, sure people can have all the headcanons they want, but it's a bit strange to me how it seems to have become a "mainstream" interpretation of ashley that she's some sort of entirely asexually motivated personality. i just.....don't see it? the way she comes across to me is more of the opposite, really. she acts inappropriately intimately towards her brother a lot and seems to be super into their weird escalating flirting, but even when she's talking/thinking about other people it's very commonly shown in the game that she'll make comments about people's sex lives unprompted.

i still think that this has a lot to do with her being unable to tell apart romantic/sexual/platonic attraction from each other and her lack of understanding of boundaries, but i'm basically just re-iterating what i already wrote in my post at this point.

yknow people like this who whine about other ppls weird fetishes and care about how fictional characters are treated so much are so wildly hypocritical. youre going to tell me that you care so much about this fiction being pure [ew] that you're going to. sexually harass a real life person? like sorry not sorry, but assuming things about peoples fetishes and what they jerk off to and talking about that to them unprompted at ALL, but especially in the derogatory way antis do it? sexual harassment.

these mfs are SO boring and would never understand the very interesting overlap between erotica and horror. i think MORE horror should feature weird fetishes, actually. being horny and scared is fun. sometimes the horniness can add to the horror. sometimes it can make it conflicting. it's a fun thing to play around with.

i think the whole underlying actual problem that too many people are ignoring or unaware of is that too many social media users don't how to have a healthy relationship with media anymore. but also that's their problem, not mine. so if someone shrugs and says "grow up", then moves on, it's really a broad hint that you need to take a step back and think about what makes you want to go and waste strangers' time about shit that literally doesn't matter.
