Meme aside, it’s obviously not a normal night. Many pieces of dialogue and item descriptions suggest that unless the hunt is ‘completed’ the night will go on forever. The hunt itself is literally stopping the sun from rising. And obviously time manipulation is well within the realm of possibility when you’re dealing with the Eldritch.
