Good Underrated Songs

Hello! Welcome to my blog. Here you will only see stuff about underrated songs and why you should give then a chance.

A few things about how i run this blog:

I decide if a song is underrated or not, so some people might disagree. Any ask saying that i was wrong about a song on this blog will be deleted.

I'm always happy to receive suggestions, but like i said in the first point i'm the one who decides if a song is underrated or not. If i decide it isn't i will simply delete the ask (don't feel sad if that happens though!).

I don't care if a artist has a million views song, if one of theirs songs is underrated i'm gonna do a post about it.

Why You Should Give It a Try: Imagine jellyfishes, now imagine CYBORG JELLYFISHES, it's like you're in the middle of the deep sea and there's a bunch of electrical cyborg jellyfishes vibing with you, they're bobbing up and down, they're so chill, they're kind off trying to get you somewhere, but they're too slow and chill, so y'all are mostly bobbing and chilling and vibing in the middle of the ocean, and like, at some point the jellyfishes get more excited, and then y'all start vibing even harder, it's so cool.

Why You Should Give It a Try: 'Pacing the hallways while in a daze caused by outside forces' vibes, really interesting instrumentals, psychedelic feel, chant vibes in the chorus, sad but at the same time not, the lyrics imply sadness but the song doesn't feel sad, i think this is caused by the mostly neutral or slightly happy tone used by the singer, there's a certain feel of dissociation in their voice, slightly playful, the instrumentals complement the singing amazingly, rainy day vibes, 'going slightly crazy' vibes.

Why You Should Give It a Try: Autism(TM), very happy autism, happy autism song, hyperfixation song, stimming song, it's literally about being happy, about being joyous, it's the name of the song, (i'm autistic btw), (so like), (this is my happy autism song), child like joy vibes, whinsy, 'why act grown up when being grown up is boring?' vibes.

Why You Should Give It a Try: Groovy, it's the type of song you would like to listen while driving the car in the city at night, chill, it's about moving on and the pains that inevitably come with it, hopecore, letting go of an old friendship and mourning it's death but still feeling hope, finally learning the truth vibes.

Why You Should Give It a Chance: Melancholic vibes, but at same time hopeful vibes, it's a bit of a trip, very catchy, great harmonizing between the duo, very chill, the hopecore is there but man. it's kind off struggling, sad, great for 3 am scenarios, for some reason i can see it being played in a sad bar, depression bar song.

Why You Should Give It a Chance: The only instrument is a harp, her voice is amazing, feels magical, calm and chill, lullaby vibes, nightingale vibes, interesting lyrics, you can listen to it for hours, feels like it's being sang by a magical creature, i would follow the creature, if i heard this while in the woods i'd be a gonner, i would either be taken to a magical land or i would be devoured by whoever is singing and my remains would never be found, i'm fine with both outcomes.

Why You Should Give It a Chance: Feels like something a D&D bard would sing, kinda eerie and mysterious, amazing male vocals, guy got a STRONG voice, filled with passion, there's a bit of french, poetical lyrics, violin solo, kinda waltzy, fantasy vibes, like fae courts and stuff, feels strangely flirty.

This one is an interesting case folks, so buckle up. This video here is not from the actual band, but from what i assume is a chinese channel that repost old rock songs. I couldn't find any sign that they have a official Youtube page, but they got a spotify, but if you go there you won't find this song but a different version of it, (that i think was recorded during a show). I also couldn't find their website, but i found a Reddit thread that talked about that. They also got an instagram, but it seems to be kinda of abandoned. Either way, it's @Rasputina_official (i'm not sure if this is actually official, but it's all i could find).

If you search on Youtube you will be able to find some other videos with this song, but none from the official band. Each video was posted at a different date all with low views and likes, But i will only focus on the one showcased here.

Why You Should Give It a Chance: Amazing cello, #unhinged, Lovely vocals, feels like a trip, whoever was playing that guitar deserves your respect, burlesque vibes, it's about a rich guy being batshit, adictive, feels like something you would hear in a burlesque show if burlesque shows were metal.

Why You Should Give It a Chance: Slightly deep female vocals (which have a nice range), makes you want to dance, good instrumentals, teenager romantic relationship falling apart vibes, they were childhood friends vibes, they won't be friends again after the break up vibes, they are trying to drag the relationship as far as possible 'cuz they don't want to lose each other vibes, slightly hopeful, the horrors are there but they aren't prominent vibes.
