Completely intentional. Fret Street was actually made specifically to be a lead-in for MT. I care a whole lot about the flow of an album’s track order and always try my best to make sure everything is in the best spot it could possibly be. MT, while a fantastic song, ended up being SUPER stylistically jarring no matter which track we placed it after, so I came up with Fret as a short 30-second buffer track. Once I pitched it to Ryan it grew into something a little more meaty, but still serves its purpose incredibly well.

back with another mediocre mashup, this time one where the vocals sounding weird at least makes more sense in-context !  it’s the masquerade by go! child and platitudes from the smile for me soundtrack.  i’ve been wanting to do something with these two songs since the moment i beat smile for me jnjtkrnh
