Despite Sabrina seemingly moving on, she hasn’t really fully committed to the idea of letting go of Chloé as a friend. She still watches her videos and checks on her because despite knowing better, deep down, she still cares about Chloé in some way. She still hopes how that friendship, even if she knew Chloé treated her badly and abused her. So when she saw that Chloé had ‘changed’ Sabrina ends up thinking that “Has she? Maybe we can restart our friendship again and that we can become friends again, better than before.”

Sabrina is still lingering on to a friendship she had for years and even if she was treated badly, it something that she can’t get out of her head. It’s something most people that went through breakups in friendships have and it’s hard to really get over it, even if years, even if the person treated you badly. It’s something I went through with multiple friendships where I ended up thinking about the what ifs and could it be possible to be friends again.
