I still cannot believe the show Hannibal exists. Like objectively. It started out as a normal if not artistically gory police procedural with our antisocial but loveable savant main character, and a new murderer every week and the looming big bad in the background who the 'good guy' is trying to find. But second half of season 2 and onwards? absolutely wild. concept of "good" guy and "bad" guy out the window. Two main men absolutely and ferally obsessed with one another, corrupting each other, waxing poetically and philosophically at one another, courting one another with gruesome murder trophies, attempting to murder each other (affectionately), running away to Europe together, killing together, killing FOR each other, the sexiest evil outfit glow up to ever exist, achilles and patroclus parallels, hand and face touches to rival period dramas... how did we get so lucky
