                    Days, weeks? They ran together as blood with water — distinguishing one from the other left her with far too splintering a headache. 

                    Had she been at full strength, the sorceress would have not abided the male's commiserated countenance. But she was weary and had little desire to fight among the brambles and roots that had already tripped her enough times. For now, she would remain docile.

          ‘ Indeed they are. ’  A swipe of the hand to the back of the neck clears away a rumpled collar and a thin bead of sweat that has accumulated where brunet hair meets pale olive flesh. Pirate bars are rowdy and violent. He recalls the first time he was introduced to one — his friend received a double-slap greeting and he observed two men falling from the arc of a window. An interesting day, that was.

          The boy’s head tips and he sheepishly smiles in response to flattery.  ’ Ah, thank you, but unfortunately, they are not. I trained myself by practicing three hours every day with the swords that I used to make. Around here, however, you must be absolutely incredible to be renowned for any skill. If anything, my smithing skills are more widely-known than my fighting skills. Only those that have not held a blade before are impressed in this town. It does make life grow incredibly difficult if intimidation is the factor to gaining something. ‘

        Easily does she smile in return, a carefree expression in contrast to the situation; what could have surely been bloodshed just moments ago would have had a younger, less worldly Morgana Pendragon fearing for the man before her. But now, the act of battle is as much a normality as waking up in the morning.

        "At any rate, you have trained yourself well." Still she has to remind herself that not all are given the noble right as her brother to learn the sword. Eyes linger on the rapier in his hands, and most assuredly she is impressed by it's crafting. "And you are learned: a skill more impactful than steel, if used properly." An amused expression is writ on her face at his comment; little does this man know, she has indeed swung a blade in her time. Moreover, the sorceress hardly needs to lift a finger to fell her opposers.
