Proboscis Bat Rhynchonycteris naso

It is found from southern Mexico to Belize, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia and Brazil, as well as in Trinidad. The bats are nocturnal, sleeping during the day in an unusual formation: most of them line up, one after another, on a branch or wooden beam, nose to tail, in a straight row.

In the photo, the two bats on the lower left are carrying young.

last night I watched The Voyage Home and... life-changing is the least I can say to describe it. seeing Spock with whales lighted up something in me, it was so beautiful. I got emotional while drawing, and now while writing, this. many great moments to draw from this movie, but I wanted to make emphasis on this today. I love you so much Spock.

😑 need to get up early so I have time to shower before friend thing but brain insists on stressing over money math instead of letting me sleep

#charlie babbles #I'm fine! it's ~future~ money math #right now my bills are reasonable and if I stopped spending so fucking much on groceries I'd be under $1000 a month for everything #but. when car. that's going to add insurance and gas and other fees. and will also have taken a large divot from savings #and I'm stressing about not being able to find a job I can physically do that will pay like. $1500 or so a month.#because ideally I will BUILD on those savings. and not be eating into them to make sure everything is covered.#because then eventually they will run out and things will be Bad #none of which is in my immediate future (very definitely not a this week problem) which means!#someone (🧠) needs to DROP this particular line of thinking. so I can get at least a few hours of asleep.#so I can hang out with my friends! which I haven't got to do in a year or more!!#god. and we will Not think about how isolated and lonely I've been because those are also not thoughts conducive to sleep
