It’s a fire ant colony? Fire ants are invasive pests that cause blistering painful bites and I don’t see how it’s any worse than zapping them or otherwise killing them

the phrase “come back with a warrant” being such a shortcut for a show trying to make you not be on a character’s side is… terrifying. ykwim

I’ve always been told that asking a cop to come back with a warrant also ensures that the cop is a real cop (and not someone impersonating one to like you know murder you or something) so I don’t know why it would be frowned upon but I guess it adds suspense in shows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

morrowind is special because its lore and premise are in no way calculated, accessible, or marketable. it’s a game about stumbling around in the dark through a world that is utterly baffling and hostile. it is the work of unchecked occult nerds who spent half a decade working on a text-based game about dark elves aimed at nobody in particular. it’s ugly and misguided and boring in ways that wouldn’t be allowed to happen now. it’s irreplaceable

good news everyone. crows no longer need instructions to build tools and have started building them from memory, as well as passing the knowledge onto future generations of crows. oops!

better news everyone. crows have learned to construct these tools from unrelated items! they no longer need to follow the original blueprint they were given and are able to improvise using their surroundings.
