The fucking sexy man bat who can actually become more man or more bat given your tastes. He’s charming, charismatic, funny, and intelligent. He’s great! Sure, he doesn’t decide to go vegan and bring a homemade meal to a woodland critter Christmas dinner, but at least he has a fucking personality. And a fucking job and financial means of supporting you, which should outright make him husband material.

They already made a merchandise with an illustration of the lagun - they posted information about it on Facebook on Tuesday evening and by the Wednesday morning everything was already sold out.

No, the mistaken creature in question was in fact…a silky anteater:

This is a translated excerpt from a Polish article about the entire story:

“It has a light brown color, a croissant shape, can fit in the hand and sits on trees. This is not the famous "lagoon" from Krakow, but a real animal that resembles an imaginary creature - a silky anteater. It is a relatively little-known animal - it was not until a few years ago that it was discovered that it was at least seven species, not just one, as previously thought.

"Lagun" from a local curiosity became a global sensation - the media around the world wrote about the funny situation that happened to the animal defenders from Krakow and the creature that turned out to be a croissant.

Many tried to assure what kind of animal a Krakow resident could see in a croissant. It was speculated that the "lagoon" could have been a iguana. Meanwhile, Facebook user Wojtek Kocołowski pointed out that it resembles a real animal that lives on trees, but should not appear in Poland.

The silky anteater is the smallest anteater known to us. The charming animal curled on a branch can indeed resemble a "lagoon" - smaller individuals can fit in the hand, has a pointed mouth and a light brown, yellow or biscuit coat. In addition, he lives on trees, having on their branches like a croissant from Krakow.”

And when you look at pictures of this lil guy…yeah. It’s easy to see how someone could mistake a croissant for it. Much easier than someone making that mistake with an iguana.

Also, they’re just so freaking adorable, I love them.

So hopefully this addition will help spread the word about the truth of these cuties.

I cannot believe the massive heartthrob that is Doctor Phosphorous is losing to FUCKING SLENDERMAN. It’s probably because hardly anyone has watched the show he’s from, which sucks.
