July 21 - mouth is very ow from yesterday's teeth extractions, unsurprisingly. Been sticking to a mostly soft foods diet today, since atm I can only chew with my frontmost teeth (cautiously, being careful not to automatically try and shift the food back to my molars). So 'stuff that doesn't need chewing' is my main food group for the next little while.
Napped a lot and read and played more All Will Fall. Completed a fun map yesterday which was me sailing around on a large tanker ship until I found land. Nice little race every time the tanker stopped at mid-sea ruins, in order to refuel and/or repair it before lethal storms swept in and started tearing it apart. Eventually I did find a cluster of tiny islands sticking up out of the sea. Today I started playing this newly discovered land map.
For supper I made a thick soup using the leftover stock and shredded chicken I'd thawed out yesterday, adding finely diced tomatoes and celery, seasonings, and some rice. There's enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow as well.
I should also cook and puree or mash some veggies, what I'm eating is leaning too much towards fruit (applesauce, juices, cautiously nibbled on fresh cherries), and starches (bread sops, porridge, rice) so far, given my diabetes. Stuff like yogurt is also unfortunately sugary. So yeah, time to make some homemade baby food for variety. Joy.
