No amount of people denying (or crafting “theory” to “debunk”) that transmasculine people + trans men suffer from a specific form of oppression that targets and punishes them for being transmascs + men actually makes all of the violence and oppression they are suffering from stop or become incorporeal. It just makes it more invisible. That’s all you’re doing, friend. You’re convincing yourselves that the violence and oppression happening, isn’t really happening. You’re burying yourself in arguments about vocabulary and semantics while people, trans people, continue to be systemically abused and violated. None of what you’re doing is proving this violence isn’t real. It only helps to bury it. It’s real all the same no matter how much you convince yourself it isn’t. You’re turning a blind eye.
