When Jeod told Eragon the story of how Selena healed her victims from all hurts including mental ones so that they were in so much bliss that they didn’t fight her when she killed them, he made it sound heartless… but I saw it as the only mercy she could have given them because after seeing Murtagh’s experience, she was likely in a bad situation she couldn’t escape from. Now, especially when she grew up a farmer or lived a livelihood where she had to butcher animals, she probably got her idea because she hoped she could do something like that for animals where if they had to die, at least make them too happy and peaceful to care.

I have a theory about where wyverns come from; the irids. It’s not done deliberately but despite preaching peace, the irids were rather quick to abandon Andarna and almost immediately bolted after figuring out what Xaden was. That means that they’re extremely prejudice. I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s a hatchling or an egg they occasionally have that causes them to abandon them somewhere. Like maybe ones that have leucism or can’t change color. Maybe they toss them into the ocean. All the Venin would need to do is grab them.

Why do I get the feeling Violet is going to get pregnant in the fourth or fifth book? I just get the feeling that with everything going on, it’s a recipe for her to wind up with a cryptic pregnancy. Granted, stress is one hell of a birth control, so maybe not, but if her joints become looser than usual, we’ll know why. Stress also has a tendency to fool people into overlooking symptoms. Xaden better not go full Anakin Skywalker over it.

I’m in the middle of Iron Flame and I kinda want to see Nolon’s wife, Winifred, lose it on him for drugging Violet and nearly getting her killed. I mean as in ‘I never want to see your face again’ levels of anger. Because I think he deserves some repercussions for that. I’m already mad that he betrayed her like that but I would be even angrier if Winifred agreed with letting that happen to her. I could see her agreeing with not wanting the public to know about the venin but also being unwilling to sacrifice Violet to keep it a secret. I mean, they knew her since she was a little girl. She was essentially family to them.

Darkstalker had turned Fierceteeth into Clearsight briefly. There’s a messed up possibility that her three eggs could be Darkstalker’s. I’m just imagining on their hatching ceremony of one of them coming out clearly part icewing. Or there’s small hints of it where one has whiter and colder underscales than normal or the similar line of white scales Darkstalker had under his wings, or one with weirdly sharper neck spikes. Or sparkling white scales instead of the usual silver.

I know some people theorize that Bakugo’s quirk might be the reason he’s so angry all the time because his body has to do so in order to keep it from killing him, which I doubt because he does have moments where he’s calm. I think his anger issues come from having a narcissistic mindset since kindergarten. But I suppose I can run with the theory of his nitroglycerin-like sweat potentially causing problems. But I think his problems would be with intimate relationships.

I actually theorize that Shoto might have something called quirk induced chimerism because fire and ice quirks seem to hate mixing. In Touya’s case, they tried to combine but the genetics from both sides of his family deleted or disabled the necessary information for his body to handle his quirk, resulting in a body that cannot tolerate fire but handle ice fine despite having a fire quirk. The two middle Todoroki children just inherited their mother’s quirk because, what was likely happening was that their parents quirks would try to blend but the ice quirk canceled out Enji’s fire quirk completely and the ice quirk turned off the genes for producing fire. But Shoto is a case where instead of the genetics of his parents fully combining, the genes that influenced his quirk instead decided to repel each other rather than combine or cancel out, resulting in one side having a fire quirk and the other having an ice quirk.

You know, at the end of My Hero Academia, when they’re all grown up, there’s a very real chance that some of them are already parents. Some of them might already have children in preschool if they found anything serious that soon. Obviously none of the main characters unless Horikoshi decides to randomly make one of them married with kids. But there’s definitely plenty of side character students who could be. But Horikoshi seems a little too cautious with ships. Can’t blame him there, even making izuocha, the most obvious ship from the start, canon still caused backlash. But it’s also easy to tell what ships he agrees with. You don’t have to grasp at straws to notice. Like, Jirou and Kaminari is one of the most obvious ones he likes. They literally have their buildings right next to each other at the end. Mina and Kirishima also seem to be a ship he likes but I think he also leaves that one a bit more ambiguous due to worrying over backlash because Kirishima is heavily shipped with Bakugo.
