I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but if you think about it, the colours perfectly represent Andarna throughout the series ~

Fourth wing: A golden baby feathertail as she bonds with Violet

Iron Storm: Transforms into an adolescent, choosing to turn her golden scales black. Hence the transition from gold to black

Onyx Storm: The irid that we know and love, leaves. Turning the black she's chosen into a blank white page. The wall through which Violet could usually reach her through, is gone, leaving nothing but a blank slate.

Soooo my excitement about them finding the irids was short lived.

"We've come only to speak with the Irid."

"Andarna!"

"YOU WILL NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE TO HER!"

Protective dragon dad!Tairn is precious.

My little precious bean Andarna was so proud telling her story and these motherfuckers made her feel like they were implying she's broken. My poor baby.

Andarna growing up on us too omg, and the little plot twists/reveals regarding her. When that precious baby said "I breathed fire!" She was so proud of herself 😭 and her outright saying she wants to be just like Tairn is so damn wholesome.

I made little Andarna from Fourth Wing recently 🥰. Loved making her little feathertail!
