my class is all really excited about the World Cup bc we’ve been talking about it a bunch, they all have their own few countries etc and it’s very cute how excited they all are, especially bc 100% this has introduced these 7 and 8 year olds to new countries they’ve never heard of before (which has supported the geography unit we did right before the World Cup started really well)

one kid keeps telling me that he’s been watching the game between ‘Bonsia and Qatar’ and he doesn’t want any spoilers because he’s watching it slowly and I’m like ok kiddo. Very clear on our World Cup board that one of those countries is still on the competition and one of them is not so you could probably work r our form rhat alone but I’m glad you’re having fun. (also told him a bunch of times it’s boSNia and not boNSia but it hasn’t sunk in yet)
