"you know once upon a time i do not think i would have. but that sort of all changed after your conspired with our mother." as much as he loved his family and always would he would also never forgive his parents for their parts in the family saga, he certainly could never fully forgive finn for his misdeed either. "i will always love you, brother," he admitted. "but that does not mean that i have to forgive you either. you were happy to see us dead; no better than mother and father." was that a big stretch? yes. but yet the pain ran deep. "I will do as you wish and keep out of our messes."
"I just wanted it all to end, I didn't want this, I never asked to be immortal, to be turned into a monster." A sigh escaped his lips, shaking his head slightly. "I shouldn't have tried to kill you, I shouldn't have joined with her to achieve that but at the time it seemed like the right thing to do." Finn nodded his head. "I understand that, Elijah, I'm not asking for your forgiveness. I don't think I will ever be able to fully forgive you all for keeping me in that coffin for 900 years." He paused. "I wasn't happy about it Elijah, I thought it was what had to be done. To rid the world of the plague we had become. I've come to terms with it, I've accepted it. As I said, you have nothing to worry or fear from me."
jason todd & violet mikami @fylstmuses
"hey, hey, i need your help." jason waved the other over. he'd seen her around with the first responders and needed to get some help for someone quickly. after stopping a buglary from progressing he needed extra hands for the people inside. his mask still on keep his identity hidden. "some people robbed this place, i got em, they're tied up but some people in there might need some help."
Violet was caught off guard by the masked figure approaching her. She was ready to put her kickboxing skills to the test when the other explained what had happened. "Damn, I thought you were about to rob me or something." She sighed in relief. "Did you call the police already?" Violet asked, reaching for her radio and ready to call it in if he hadn't already. "Alright, show me where."
giselle & finn mikaelson @fylstmuses
giselle looked up when the other arrived. one of the few people to enter the bar during the day. she'd been wiping down the tables getting ready for the evening crowd. "need directions somewhere or something to drink?"
Finn approached the counter and sat down on one of the stools. He liked to come at this hour because it was calm and the annoying drunks still weren't here. "I would love a bourbon please, thank you." He said, offering the other a smile.
"look after shift, if we're not dead tired by then, i'll buy us a drink." it was one of the ways stella liked to decompress the most after a long shift. just hanging out with her work friends and letting the job roll off their backs in order to do it all over again the next day.
"You know, that actually sounds like a really good idea." Lexa didn't go out with people that often, she was more of a loner and preferred her own company. But her work friends were people she didn't mind being around, they were all close and had gone through a lot together. "Guess I'll buy us one next time then."

"So you're new here? Welcome to DC, hope the city is treating you good" Jihyo told Drogon. "Yeah, I've needed to do it too, getting out of my comfort zone. I wasn't the talkative one before DC but I've needed to be or else I would be stuck in a place with a lots of things and technology that isn't from back home."
"You can definitely say that." Compared to some people, they were certainly new here. And in a new body too, nonetheless. "That's understandable. I mean, I'm in the same boat as you were. Didn't have many human interactions, definitely didn't have all of this technology. And well, I wasn't exactly a human where I come from, I was a dragon."
"Help would be great, actually, thank you." Jayce could've made it easier on himself by taking a taxi or something like that -- but he wanted to try to actually memorize the city himself, so he wouldn't get lost within it more often than not. "I'm looking for the college. Trying to get a job there."
Lexa was very familiar with the city, she had been born and raised here after all. And with her job at the fire department, she had the entire city almost memorized in her mind. "No need to thank me." She assured him with a smile. "Come on, I can take you there, it's not too far. Are you a teacher?"
@fylstmuses | Clementine & Hershel.
"You look a lot like someone I used to know. Very briefly, when I was a kid." Clementine tells him, shrugging her shoulders slightly. "His name was Glenn. I don't really know what became of him, he left our group and went to... a farm, I think? I can't remember. I was only eight."
Hershel titled his head to the side as the other spoke, surprised when she said his father's name. "Glenn Rhee?" He asked, smiling at her for a moment. "He's my dad actually. If it's the same Glenn we are talking about. And yes, he went to a farm where he met my mom."
"Thank you for making me feel better about my little rant." Tk chuckled, giving a nod. "I don't know what I should do though. I've never really had this many days off in a row."
"No worries, anytime." Lexa said, letting out a chuckle. "Well, you could maybe travel somewhere? Take the chance that you have a few days off to meet a new people and new people?" She suggested, shrugging her shoulders.
"Education doesn't always equal intelligence," was all he had to say about doctors, having worked with far too many with egos that needed constant stroking and validation, something he had no time for which made him not as well liked by other physicians but he'd live with that. "You learn to live with it here, that or you're stuck in the past and in denial of your situation"
"Isn't that the truth." Violet said, agreeing with the other. Experience was a big part of it as well and she definitely had a lot of that, working in the field for as long as she has. Her experiences with doctors were far from being positive, but so far she didn't mind the other, he seemed to be a decent person. "I guess so, it's something I've come to accept. Part of me hopes that my friends will somehow show up here too."

"Going up to random people who aren't medical professional's and expecting them to give truthful answers may be harder than you think," he said, placing his hands in his coat pockets as he neared the other. "One thing I've learned in my 3 years here is that people are fond of each other and won't rat each other out unless forced"
"I don't need their medical view on it, I only need someone to tell me if they saw someone suspicious, running away from the scene. Maybe a car speeding away, anything." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "Oh trust me, I know. It's hard to find someone who will speak up, but we have to try. Gotta try and get justice for the victim."
She knew he was right, she knew it in her bones that he made valid points but to think he whole life was a lie and something that was force fed into her brain? It made her whole body shiver. "You don't even know me," she finally said after a moment of silence, "why are you doing this?"
Hershel shrugged his shoulders at her question. "I don't really know, I guess I know what it feels like to be alone. And how scary it can be." He titled his head to the side as he looked at her. "And everyone always told me how good hearted my father was, how he was always ready to help people even if he didn't know them. I guess I just want to try and be like him."
"I'm a quick learner so there's no need to worry about me," she said, raising her hands as she saw the look in the other's eyes. She didn't want to think it was pity but she didn't want anyone feeling sorry for her. "I even have a phone and everything - don't know how I managed to get it but I got one"
"I'm glad to hear that. I can't begin to imagine how adjusting to a world that is so different from what you were used to must have been like." Lexa nodded her head. "Oh those are very helpful actually. Pretty much every person has one."
Finn nodded his head. "Well, it's not your problem, maybe sleeping in the sidewalk will put some sense into him next time." He shrugged his shoulders, highly doubting that. "That wouldn't be very nice, that's for sure. Can I buy you a drink as an appreciation for you helping me out?"
"Yeah, I would like that, thank you." Tj smiled at the other and nodded. "You know, that could be true. I guess the cold sidewalk is just what he needs to reevaluate his life choices, right? So he doesn't end up in this situation again."
Finn nodded his head and called the bartender over, ordering drinks for the both of them. "Nothing like spending the night in the cold sidewalk to put some sense into your head." He let out a chuckle, although he doubted the man would learn from this. He probably would be out drinking again tomorrow.
@fylstmuses [Max + Hershel]
"Has anyone ever told you that your name reminds them of chocolate?" Max asked curiously, chuckling a bit.
Hershel shook his head at the other's words. "I don't think so? No one has ever told me that but I'm well aware of the chocolate's brand." He said with a chuckle.

@fylstmuses [Matthew + Owen]
β of course, i remember! i remember everything you told me. β Matthew pointed out. "i just might need a little help to bring it forward,there's a lot of memories in here."
Owen titled his head to the side, frowning slightly as the man spoke. "I didn't really say anything, I think you might be mistaking me for someone else." He said. "I'm not from here, I just showed up here actually.
abby nodded, "yeah, that makes sense." she'd lost a lot too. the loss of her father is what put her on this path in the first place. she rose an eyebrow, not understanding at first, then realizing she was talking about ellie. she wasn't sure how to respond. how does on respond to someone saying they're the reason for a couple splitting up? she just stood for a moment before waving it off, "don't worry about it, i'm sure you could say much worse things. you're kind of letting me off easy." she tried to joke, letting out a dry chuckle.
Dina looked down at the ground for a moment. "You didn't kill me. You could've, after what happened to your friends." She had spared her and her son, when she could've easily gotten her revenge for her friend. She chose not too and Dina was thankful to her for that. "I guess I'm just trying to say thank you for not killing me, as weird as that might sound." Dina sighed. "I'm choosing to see this place as a fresh start, a place where we can move on from the past and find out happiness, whatever that might be."
