Anthony nodded, sympathetic with this man's situation. It appeared they were in similar boats. "And is any of your family here, or loved ones?" He inquired.

"Sadly, no. It looks like I'm the only one from Lima, Ohio or well, Westerville." Blaine admitted. "I didn't even run into a Warbler and that's insane. What about you?"

" — is he gone? that tall guy with the backpack? "

"Oh, yeah, he's gone." Steven replied, looking over at the other. He didn't really mind that he had taken his book, it was more so that he was trying to study when he took it. "don't lose the page i was on, by the way or I'll tell the guy with the backpack to come back."

"While not a King, I am a Viscount. My family is from Mayfair, London." So many people in this city seemed to not know much about titles, he was ready to have to explain this to him.

"I'm gonna have to ask what a Viscount is. I don't think I've ever heard that before. I've heard of the Count...and you don't look like a muppet vampire." Finn pointed out.

" And I don't have any desire to go , after that . " Rue rolled her eyes . Rue had no patience for anything like this . Situations like this bored her , out of her mind . And so did people that had no consideration for everyone . " No , I am not , kid . And why would I be helpful , when you've done nothing if not scream at people ? "

"I don't blame you." Erica replied, giving a slight shrug. "I'm pretty sure we're close to the same age. Who are you calling kid? I wouldn't really call it yelling. I'm just very passionate about life."

Huh. That was interesting. He'd realised they'd come into existence at some point in the last 200 years, but he hadn't realised just how recent it must have been. "The 1970s?" Phillip asked, though he was presuming that was what she meant. "These devices are that new? I'm from the 1800s myself."

"Yeah, I died in like 87." Heather told the other with a slight shrug. "Oh, yeah. I think the first cellphones were in the early to mid 90s, and they were like, huge, hunky things. Nothing like this." Heather admitted. "I have figured out how to text, though...so I could show you that."

"You know, I had a feeling that was you, but I had to make sure. Why, hello, Niffty! How are you, and how did you end up on the topside?" Alastor asked curiously.

"Oh, just about three months, I am still getting used to everything around here." Richie admitted, giving a nod. "What about you? You doing okay in DC?"

It was a relief to know he wasn't the only one in the same boat, he had assumed everyone around him would have plenty of experience and know exactly what they were doing. It actually helped him feel better, knowing that others could relate to his confusion. "Truly! All of this technology is so confusing. Was writing by hand really that hard for people of this century?"

"I'm guessing it is. Did you know there are a lot of people who can't even write in cursive? I asked someone, and they asked me if I meant curse words. I have no idea what they meant, but was too shocked to even ask anything further." Juliet admitted.

Cordelia stared at him for a moment, head tilting to one side as she took that in. "A spirit in the moon?" She repeated, mildly baffled about where that had come from. All she'd said, after all, was vampires. "That's specific. Ugh, is everyone around here losing their minds all of a sudden?"

"Was it? I was just kind of pulling out an idea." Sokka replied, although it was personal for him but he sure wasn't going to tell the other that. "I guess? I've been told DC can do that to people."

Nora smiled the slightest bit. "I'm still not used to that. I'm so used to back in my time, when it was frowned upon." She shook her head. "Basically everything about me was frowned upon in my day."

"Luckily for you, the 21st century has a lot more tolerance. I'm not saying it's perfect, of course. Nothing ever is, but you don't have people wanting to burn you at the stake for liking being queer." Penelope smiled. "Ah, or being a witch, thankfully."

"If he thinks it's true, then he's definitely a freak," Cordelia reiterated. She wasn't in the least bit affected by being called rude - as a matter of fact, she was used to it. "Normal people wouldn't even consider the possibility...like, do you believe in anything like that?"

Edward gave an awkward laugh at that question, give the fact that he lost his arm trying to bring his mother back from the dead. "I think I believe that anything is possible, and I don't knock anyone else who thinks of the weird and creepy. we never know what is truly out there."

after what felt like forever (probably only a couple minutes) knocking on the door, freddie finally got an answer. she was about to turn and leave so it was good that he finally unlocked the door. she smiled back, "i saw the hours on the door so i was confused when i got here and it was locked. guess i could've just called the number," she shrugged, "anyways i just wanted to check this place out. see if there's anything cool for my shop or apartment."

"Oh, yeah, no you aren't confused. I'm the only one working and I agreed to work from open to close. However, they told me when I needed a break and a moment, I could lock the door." Jake explained, opening it to let the other in. "Come on in, check us out. If you're into the old, cool and creepy we probably got what your looking for." Jake chuckled.

“ This place sucks . I haven’t been here long and I already know it . I can tell a lot by a town and their movie theaters . “ Amber was a massive film fan . Everything in her life had been defined by how she saw them . By what she liked . That was why she had put on the ghostface mask , wasn’t it ? “ Speaking of . What are your favorite films ? “

"I wouldn't say this place sucks but it isn't the most ideal paradise," Harry admitted with a slight shrug. "I'm afraid I haven't seen a lot of this world's movies, but I do like the one with the pirates. Some of it reminds me of my time with my friends back on the Isle."
