I work at Walmart. This week we had to let three associates go because over the course of our last two quarters our losses due to theft more than doubled, and we need to cut costs in the departments these associates worked in. All three of these associates have children; two of them are single parents. If you make a habit of shoplifting from stores because “the company makes billions every year so they can handle a few hundred dollars in losses,” think about that, and think about the lives you’re ruining. We lose our jobs when you do what you do. Don’t pretend it doesn’t affect us.

Do you ever cycle through the same 4 apps on your phone over and over again and feel like a tiger pacing its cage at the zoo

y'all ever get hit with the realization when you’re in the middle of doing something like, whoa, what the fucking shit this is real life. like this is happening right now. not even when its something crazy i mean when you’re like doing the laundry or some shit

its like you get snapped out of autopilot and suddenly everything becomes physically clearer and louder

It’s totally okay to say “you know what, this isn’t making me happy” and to walk away from whatever or whoever is keeping you from the happiness you deserve

Normalize apologizing to children.

Not to be like “we live in a society” but I think a lot of people’s mental health would be significantly less fucked if they didn’t have to function in a system that forces them to think about their value as a human being as based on how productive they are/how much money people can make off them

Ok but why is body positivity so focused on telling people that they’re beautiful, rather than telling them that beauty is not the highest achievement for human beings?

Some of you need to learn the difference between skinny girls being made to feel insecure about their body from certain people and fat girls being made to feel like their entire life is worthless because of their body size from literally the entire world

anybody can pull off cute fashions. not just slender petite little pale people with button noses and big eyes and delicate hands. more appreciation for big cuties and brown cuties and tall cuties and broad cuties and fat cuties and darkskinned cuties and and black cuties and round cuties and voluptuous cuties. you’re all cute and lovely and I hope you dress up however you want and feel great.
