Hello, hello, my smileys! I have missed you all! <3 :)
You might be wondering; Nerdy, what the heck happened and where have you been? Well, it's simple!
I had to take a break from being online back in November because stuff was getting pretty rough all around! I tried to keep a vague going away message (while also leaving something positive too!) cause it's not really stuff I wanna talk about, but the point is, I wasn't 100% sure if I would come back or not :||
I figured if it was a hiatus, that it would last maybe a month or two BUT BOY WAS I WRONG :,D
Becauseeeeee, things got W O R S E
Like, BAD-bad! Like genuinely, you would NOT guess bad.
As in, I figured if things improved last winter, I'd be back early this year. But NOPE. Instead I've gone for like, 7ish(???) months now
Like, genuinely I can't talk about some of the stuff at all, and I don't wanna :D But it's super bad, but THAT'S OKAY. WE WORK THROUGH IT! :)
Anywhizzle, I chose to delete my ao3 then cause I knew if I had anything still functional online/couldn't be easily removed or avoided, I'd start feeling really bad/guilty and obligated to come back. Which would add some stress/guilt/extra messy feelings on top of everything that was happening
It wouldn't be anyone's fault, I was just burned out, dealing with a lot of bad stuff, and wouldn't have been able to handle any extra emotions on top of it all
But I'm doing a lot better now :D Which is why I feel I've hit a spot in healing/dealing with the grief process to be able to come back and start doing things I enjoy again!
Truth be told, after some of the worse stuff happened, I started writing and drawing again and realized how much I missed it and missed everyone, and I know having a creative outlet will help a lot here!
(Also my sister came to me showing that people were actively talking about me online/I have a Google ai summary??? What the heck????? Y'all are way too nice to me 😭 I'm literally just a fanfic writer)
