There’s a pregnant pause, then: “This is obviously not how I wanted you to find out, but-“ “Did you?” Porsche interrupts him, not caring one bit if he’s being rude. “Want me to find out? Because I think you never planned on telling me.” “I did!” Kinn says immediately. “Just, not so soon. I just found you. I didn’t want to scare you off.” And that… he’s right about that. Porsche is scared. For himself. For his little brother. Of this world that Kinn has brought them both closer to simply by sitting at their kitchen table.

"I mean", he says slowly, "since you're here already and you have nothing better to do…" he trails off, expecting Tiger to bring the thought to it's natural conclusion. But Tiger is not that nice. "Yes?" he asks innocently. Lynx huffs, glaring harder. "Are you going to help or not?"

Tiger is more than ready to carry the world on his shoulders for him. But first, Lynx has to ask.

"Oh, did President Shen not tell you?" Hua Yong says sweetly. "We'll be leaving for the Hunt shortly." You told me five minutes ago, Wenlang wants to say and can't because why would his "secretary" have this information sooner than he does?  Gao Tu's slightly confused but overall good-natured mood practically drains from his face, leaving him looking haunted and slightly freaked out. "Hunt?" he echoes and for a moment, there's a spike of... something in the air. But it's gone before Wenlang can get a good read on the scent.

To woo Shaoyou, Hua Yong turns what was supposed to be a business meeting into a mating hunt. Wenlang gets dragged along to once again play the villainous boss Hua Yong needs to be rescued from. At least Gao Tu is here to keep him company. Though for some reason, his friend is even less enthusiastic about the whole thing than Wenlang.

Out of everything in his life, Gao Tu is the best influence he has. By a long shot. He cannot, he absolutely cannot lose him. He's behind the other man within a heartbeat, wrapping both arms around him and pulling him in. Gao Tu makes a surprised little grunt and instinctively tries to pull away. Wenlang tightens his hold. "What are you doing?" He sounds incredulous. "I am not letting you go until you give me a good reason."

"I know the owner of X Holding", Hua Yong says because really, what is one more lie. Gao Tu's eyes go impossibly wide. "You do? How? Nobody even knows what he looks like." Hua Yong laughs. "Now, that's not feasible, is it? He has people he talks to. Lots of them know what he looks like." "Well, what does he look like?" Gao Tu wants to know. Hua Yong cannot help but grin. He leans in and lowers his voice conspiratorially. "Why? Want me to introduce you? Some say he's quite handsome."
