Many of us know that if you were a Jehovah’s Witness you do not accept blood transfusions. Even if your life is in danger you will not/ can not accept blood to heal your body! I realized after some thinking that if something happens to me today, that MY PARENTS, would be in charge of my health... that is a HELL NO. So, this is how I take control of my health. Who has control of you if something happens to you? Are they Jehovahs Witness? Are you comfortable with that?

As I leave our Christmas party last night I began to cry. It always hurts. However I am so thankful and grateful for the team of love and support that I do have with me... but yes. I still miss my famil
Just a friendly reminder that the brain of those who have suffered trauma is physically different than a “normal brain”. Trauma and abuse has a severe, long-term psychological and neurological effect. This is why you have difficulty concentrating, why you have trouble sleeping, why you can’t seem to stay focused, why you cry at the drop of the hat, why you’re not satisfied with yourself, why you think everything is your fault, why you think you’re toxic, why you’re full of regret and you don’t know why.
And get this. When you experienced this trauma, no matter how long it happened or how many times, your brain instantaneously made judgments about the world, your sense of self, and others. This is why you’re paranoid. Why you trust no one. Why you perceive things to exist that aren’t true in reality. It’s why people say you’re crazy, over-dramatic, or too emotional.
You may not heal in a day, but know this: it is not your fault. Your brain is responding to trauma.

I’m excited that you gave yourself the gift of FREEDOM this year. I know right now it doesn’t seam as though you are free and you may miss your birth family. I found that creating a True family (those who are family to you and accept you for who and what you are), is more powerful and stronger than a birth family that wants you to not be yourself for a “religion”. Does anyone else feel like they are always left behind.
Another day... again. Being bisness owner and making moves. However today I feel like I’m still a little behind. Didn’t learn the simple art of taking the lead, or also selling. Not knowing my worth, or even knowing that I am enough “with out Jehovah”. I feel like I lost so much time because I was told to do things that would make me successful... I did them, and now the things they told me would make me successful have NOTHING to do with real life. Just tired of feeling like I’m left behind, or I missed something.
