We do, however, want to save your pet so please be honest with us about what your pet got into. It could literally be life and death for them.

i initially read this as a cat picking up a cocaine habit on the street and not being a narc about it before i realised you meant pets accidentally ingesting their owners drugs

Same as with healthcare workers. They are not police and they don’t have any obligation to tell police. But they do need to know what you took so you can be treated properly.

So many people treat anger as something inherently toxic that you have to repress, but it can actually be a sign of growth and recovery. If you have been through trauma and abuse, reaching a place where you're able to go "your behavior is not acceptable and I'm not going to tolerate it because I know I deserve better" is very much a GOOD thing

It is one the five emotions of grief for a reason…
