overly complicated head canons that have been living in my head for months (hotel addition)
(Warning: some of these involve some radioapple hinting. You have been warned...)
~Lucifer and Alastor are both left-handed. When Alastor was a kid, he was forced to use his right hand instead and as a result he can't write great with either hand (Cause, this happened to my grandpa :P) Lucifer however using his left hand on a routine basis. (Happening post season 2) One day Lucifer sees Alastor using his left hand to write something down for Charlie, Lucifer points this out and Alastor expects ridicule. Instead, Lucifer is like "Heeeeeey I'm left-handed too bellhop!!!" And they get weirdly prideful and annoying that they're the only left-handed people in the hotel and drive everyone crazy.
~When Lucifer gets really tired or stressed, he starts speaking in older and older versions of English and if he's angry enough sometimes just starts yelling in Greek or Hebrew.
This happened during a fight with Alastor once. Lucifer started yelling in ancient Hebrew and no one could figure out what he was saying. Lucifer had no idea he did this until Charlie nervously brought it up to him one day and asked why he randomly started yelling at Alastor in Hebrew. In response Lucifer looks confused and mutters to himself "I did what?"
~ Alastor secretly loves the song Happy Face (The one by Jaguar Twin) despite the fact that it was released in 2020
~Charlie gets drunk very easily. One time she got drunk after having one glass of wine with Vaggi on a date
~On the opposite side of that spectrum Alastor does not get drunk easily. (I don't really have any stories for this one)
~Alastor loves spice. One night he offered to cook for the hotel and purposefully made Lucifer's dish with an unholy amount of spice. Lucifer told Charlie afterward he wished it had spicier. A piece of Alastor fell in love that day.
~Charlie found out about friendship bracelets one day and spent the whole night making one for everyone in the hotel. Nifty didn't get the message of what the bracelet was and used it to strangle a rat.
Charlie did not take the knowledge that her gift had become a murder weapon well.
~Lucifer and Charlie both have AuDHD(I would start elaborating on this HC but then you would never be able to stop me)
~Alastor has convergence/divergence insufficiency and poor depth perception.
(for the Con/divergence insufficiency) Alastor has headaches by the end of every day which he usually tries to pretend aren't there. After a particularly stressful day of work and a lot of switching between looking close up and far away Alastor had an unbearable headache. He ended up drinking until he fell asleep in the staff room. The employees found out but out of fear of what he might do never said anything about it to Alastor. Because no one ever said anything Alastor assumed they didn't know.
One time when trying to read a hotel plan from Charlie, he couldn't bring the page into focus. Vaggi noticed him squinting and gave a basic summary of what the paper was about. The next morning, she found her spear was a little shinier. Neither of them ever said anything about this.
(I struggle with Con/Divergence insufficiency, depth perception, and a few other things so this is based of my personal experience :P)
