Some people seem to be under the mistaken impression that my computer is barely puttering along, and I want to make it clear that after 10 (now 11) years, she still runs just fine. I'm not overconfident: I have all of my files backed up and I still plan on replacing the motherboard soon. In fact, over the years the CPU and motherboard are the only components that haven't been upgraded or replaced. But I take good care of her. I turn her fully off every night so she can get a good night's sleep, and she boots as smooth as ever every morning. I know she wont run forever, but she's been a real trooper and as a poor artist who can barely afford rent I'm deeply grateful for that.
UPDATE: I have officially purchased a new computer. The old girl can now enjoy a healthy retirement streaming pirated anime and youtube with adblocker to the big tv

So my FIRST piece of information if you’re still a teen is that genuinely as you get older it will get easier to regulate your emotions. During adolescence our brains are undergoing a lot of growth and change that genuinely does make it harder to do this, on a scientific level. However, practicing emotional regulation skills can still help a lot and if you can find something that works it will make life easier going forward
