like im sure he'd probably boycott himself in an attempt to protect the relationship, and overdoing it so. or maybe place himself in a servant, submissive dynamic, never talking about his feelings 'cause hey, at least he shows me affection from time to time, and hey, at least i'm not alone. But i feel like devil's minion (and especially show-modern one) works because daniel takes no bullshit. Armand would be so accommodating of everything without a care just for a sliver of love, and daniel would be like hey freak stop that. im not your maitre the fucks wrong with you
Like damn pretty much no one has ever truly loved him (at least show Armand. I haven't read tva yet).
yknow, even with Louis in the most genuine, loving time, in the beginning of their relationship, Louis' still in love with Lestat, hallucinating him (or chasing after his memory, 70 years later). We all know Lestat never really loved him, and let's not talk Marius.
So my point is, yes I know Armand is a fucker and Daniel is no angel but he could love Armand (eventually), and take none of his bullshit. Not only take him but make him a better person, instead of letting the carroussel of self-sacrifice and abandonment-of-self go 'round again.
