Cait- shot out of it like a cannonball and rolled like ten feet. She thought it was great.
Codsworth- He did not go down, it's just not possible for him. He didn't want to either.
Curie- Somehow managed to land on her feet and was unharmed. Asked if she could do it again.
Danse- His power armor wouldn't fit and he tried to refuse. Sole begged until he agreed to go down, he somehow landed on his face. He did not enjoy it.
Deacon- Pushed sole down the slide first. Laughed his ass off watching them go flying, went down after them. He landed on Sole. He had a great time. Sole did not.
Nick- His metal body rattled around there like crazy. Lost his hat. After he comes flying out he tells Sole he thinks he broke something. Sole is laughing so hard that they aren't able to help him for a full two minutes. He didn't have a good time.
Hancock- He shot out of that thing so fast you'd swear he greased the slide. He loved it and kept going down until Sole made him stop.
Maccready- was able to go down like a normal person, and had a great time. He takes Duncan to the cop slide and he has a great time too.
Piper- She broke her arm and Sole had to give her a Stimpack. She refuses to try again.
Preston- Screams the whole time, and had a pretty hard landing. He was bruised and scrapped but he was ready to do it a second time.
Strong- He was not allowed to go down the slide as he would get stuck. He was pretty upset.
Ada- Rattled even louder than Nick going down and chipped some of her paint. She did it five times.
X6-88- He claims it was boring and that he didn't see the point. Really he was both mildly traumatized and intrigued at the same time. When Sole's not looking he does it again and hurts himself. When Sole asks how he got hurt he refuses to say why.
Bonus, DLC Companions
Gage- The man lives in Nuka World, he thought it was okay but he's had a lot more thrilling rides.
Old Longfellow- If he had gone down the slide he would have broken his hip, and possibly died.

retreading 11 year old ground here but it's great how there isn't a single good argument, outside of making nick valentine canonically aroace, why it would be bad for the devs to make him romanceable. "problematic age gap he's ancient" sole survivor is 230 years old. "robot x human relationships are frowned upon" a man gets married to a miss nanny in diamond city in broad daylight with the local minister officiating. "he's not a real person he's artificial" youre not gonna believe what the core conceit of this game is. "sole survivor is just a client to him" he laments that you aren't immortal like him so you can't be partners forever. "he's all fucked up looking" you can date a ghoul in this game. "he's in mourning" his entire affinity quest is about moving on from the past. "he's too close to the institute" if shaun is every gen 3 synth's father in spirit then paladin danse is spiritually your grandson and no one seems to have a problem with that. "he's a ken doll down there" are you twelve years old
