11. okay so this one isn't actually so much about the design but more of a technical thing. if you're making a latin alphabet font but do not bother to make that font compatible with even the most basic of diacritics then i hate you. i regularly type in a non-english language that still uses the latin alphabet and it severely limits my font options when as soon as i need to put an accent on a letter it uses the default font because the one i was trying to use doesn't support those characters. even words in english sometimes use diacritics so i don't know why people do this. it's just pure laziness

i picked Bodoni for my blog title :) i am a big Bodoni fan, it's very legible at that size, I love the contrast between thick and thin, and it's also a total classic, which are all things suitable for a font blog i think
