It's been a while since I've drawn a touhou character.

I was decluttering my room and I found this unfinished drawing I did when I was 14-16 years old. I decided to redraw it for fun.

He is no different to JK Rowling. If anything, he's worse because he sweeps that behaviour under the rug, expecting people to forget. He's a bigot that doesn't broadcast.

As, admittedly, somebody who isn't a fan of either, I just don't get how people consistently tell Harry Potter fans to (rightfully) leave their bigoted, anti-trans supporting, literal rights-reducing fandom behind...yet still get excited for the silliest FNAF announcements. How is this seriously okay? You still wanna support it, fine, your fandom means more to you than your principles. I don't like that, but I have self-awareness and know I will not be changing it by posting on tumblr dot com. If you claim to be an ally or trans supporter and still give money to a franchise that is supporting their eradication, though, you are broadcasting that this doesn't matter to you.

We have literally seen this year how separating art from the artist is ridiculous. JK Rowling donated £70,000 to an organisation trying to eradicate trans people from the supreme court's view - and succeeding. Why are we then still giving money to a man with interest in doing the same, while calling ourselves allies in tandem?

It's ridiculous. It makes no sense. It is astounding how quickly these standards develop when it's about things we care about more than other people's.

I'll forever cherish one of the few games that changed my life for the better! I've learned the most important things in life that have molded me to become who I am today, especially the inspiring determination that pushed me to never give up on me and others, and without it, I don't know where I'd be right now! I happily dedicate my art to celebrate its remarkable 10th year anniversary by redrawing my very first fanart poster that I made that sparked my passion for making posters! I'm very happy for the drastic improvement and hopefully my past self would be happy and proud of it. I don't have much of a digital footprint for Undertale when I was younger, but I hope I can craft more fanart to share what my past self would've shared when given the chance!
