Din went there for Grogu, to see him and make sure he was safe and to give him the armour, but at the end of all of that, he chose to leave for Grogus sake with the single request that Grogu have the armour for his own safety. And bare in mind how many people Din saw try to kidnap or kill Grogu, I think that’s fair.

But Luke twisted it into an ultimatum. At no point did Din say I want him back or if he takes this he has to be a Mandalorian and come with me. It was a gift freely given and it wasn’t a danger to Grogu and frankly it wasn’t Luke’s right to withhold it in any capacity or make him chose.

Quinlan was a Jedi but he kept his Kiffar clan markings. Ahsoka and Shaak Ti wore traditional Torgruta headdresses. There were many Jedi who kept parts of their culture and managed to be perfect Jedi.

There was no reason Grogu couldn’t be a Jedi and wear a chainmail shirt and it wasn’t Luke’s right or job to keep that from him and make him choose either the lightsaber and the Jedi or a gift freely given with no expectations then make him leave.

And I really don’t like that the writers did that because that’s not how the Jedi were and that’s not what the attachment rule has ever meant before and it’s so frustrating.

The Jedi Order said attachment was dangerous, that being possessive of other people and being unable to let them go could make you dangerous and that’s true. But they never made Jedi cut themselves from their birth cultures or the culture of their people/planet. They never forced Jedi not to embrace their birth culture, ever. Which is why this scene sits so wrong with me.

Grogu is not always focused on the lessons. This Luke notices before din arrives to deliver his present.

Being a jedi is quite a serious commitment.

Looking at jasters supercomando codex I think he is an idealist so I can't really see him turning all dark so if he becomes the clone template there would have to be a lot of sith bs involved though then again who knows how he would react after the TM are eradicated.

How would the civil war end?

I kinda love the idea of jaster getting a bit obsessed over routing the remnants of DW.

He made the mistake of letting it be once and it cost him his son so he won't make that mistake twice. I think if something dark maybe eradicate the entire clan vizsla those who might be TM or NM need to find a new clan to take them in or they become nasaade. Pre is probably still quite young. Jaster isn't one to kill children so there is potential there too.

Looking at jasters supercomando codex I think he is an idealist so I can't really see him turning all dark so if he becomes the clone template there would have to be a lot of sith bs involved though then again who knows how he would react after the TM are eradicated.

Though seeing as he is more throughout in his war against DW they might not be around to cause trouble against the TM though the sith probably try to force a situation like galidraan. 🤔

Let's see. Jango still dies in jasters arms for maximum drama but tor gets away boyy if anything before that were skirmishes it's an all out war.

I think those who were neutral before are basically forced to choose a side after that.

The thought of revenge is basically what keeps jaster going. Imagine montross got away too then there is a manhunt for that traitor too... Though montross is probably alone. Tor is to smart to take someone on who double crossed his previous leader.

With that said if galidraan happens though it might even be more tense then with jango bc at that point jaster has quite the bloody reputation though I do believe that jaster is still smart enough not to shoot first. 🤔

After jaster gets his revenge though...

That will be a fucking nightmare of a drop.

Jaster probably already had self destructive tendencies but they were kept in check by his Thirst for revenge...

Quite the few Verde will despair at there alors state though they probably have to force him to go into therapy. 🤔

Montross as a potential template for the clones if jaster remains mand'alor? Or at least the TM surviving.

Ok, consider, if we’re not going by the one shot.

Jango and Jaster get separated on te battlefield. The Haat’ad are spread thin but winning.

Tor gets behind Jango and kills him.

He drags Jango’s body to where Jaster is still fighting, as yet unaware of what’s happened.

Picture Jaster’s reaction the second he sees Tor stalking across the battlefield with his son limp and bloody being dragged behind him. When Jango’s body is dropped at Tors feet, when Jaster realised what’s happened, what Tors done, what he’s just lost.

The battlefield goes silent.

Idk from there I’ve just been thinking about angst lmao.

Still, Tor gets away and Jaster becomes obsessed with burning the entirety of Desth Watch to the ground for what they’ve done.

Then the question becomes can Jaster hold onto his morals or does he go dark in his quest for vengeance. Which I guess it up to author and how they want to take the story.

Also yeah Montross was originally in the running to be a clone template so it could be him.

It's not like I don't believe that jaster can't go fully darkside in a situation like this but I don't think people like myles, Auspa etc would allow that. They would do anything in their power to pull him back from the edge.

I could see him finding her after tors death and they have a Rocky start but kind of help each other heal idk. 🤔

Yessss, these are the questions I have. We’ve seen how Jango coped, his grief, but how would Jaster cope. How would his people react to their leader mourning a son. How would things like Galidraan happen if Jaster was leading rather than Jango.

It would change so much.

But yeah a big focus would be on how Jaster copes with his grief, probably some guilt, at the very least survivors guilt, his anger his all of it. How would he manage to run his people? Would he manage to run his people? Would he withdraw into himself? Become disillusioned or more focused on his goal? Would he become obsessive over destroying Death Watch?

Would he kill Tor, would he try to all fall at Tors hand? Would Tor win in this AU?

How did Jango die, was it at Tors hand, a deliberate strike against Jaster, or just a death on the battle field. Does Jaster see it happen or come across his sons body, and if the second is he dead before Jaster gets there or still clinging on onto to die in his arms?

Who would they pick for the clone Template?

How would Galidraan happen, would Jaster take the contract, would he shoot first or would it be more peaceful? Would he believe the Governor, after all he’s older and has more experience.

And Arla, would he ever find her, would she be sent to kill him believing that he killed her brother, would she find out Tor killed him and escape?

Would Jaster hear rumour she was alive and become obsessed over finding and saving her for Jangos sake?
