I made this for my precious little sister as a Christmas gift of her OC, Dia Wonder! She’s had this character for about 7 years now, and I actually designed and drew the original character art of this gal for her when we were younger.

Getting to revisit the design and colors, and amp them up, and see how much I improved was fun...getting to see my sister’s reaction though...? Even BETTER.

This be Locke...the swamp-guardian-son of a character of mine and one of @inkybirdy‘s. He turn into a tiny owl fren.

I was too lazy to change her expression or hair part but I made all 4 variation of her starting clothes, and I’m danged proud of myself.^^

I stumbled on @shatterstag‘s boi, Lye/Lying Spider and...I might be in love with his design and story. XD

I messed up his coloring in the first image but I am INCREDIBLY proud of the second. Given his lovely dark skin and pink/lavender hair, I got it in my head that he and my own dnd character, Celi in her Winter season, would look good together. I kinda wanted to tangle their limbs a bit for a kind of yin/tang vibe. XD

He’s fey, she’s from the feywild, he changes his form as a changling and has multiple personalities in his head, she’s an eladrin and changes form and personality according to her emotions, so I guess it kind of makes sense. XD

Found a DnD group and have begun my first full session ever! (played a small snippet o one in highschool but MAN I’ve been wanting to play DnD for YEARS and I’m SO EXCITED!) I of course, had to draw my girl.^^

That’s right; all four are one girl. She’s an Eladrin Elf, and their whole deal is that they change between 4 season-based forms depending on their mood. They are emotional elves that have survived and even thrived in the ever-changing environment of the feywild for so long, that they are more fey then elf. Ever changing in a beautiful, but chaotic mess. It’s a new species, and I can’t wait to get to use her more!

Her name is Araceli (Celi) Ithuriel and she’s a bard, and was an entertainer in the feywild, entertaining the fey courts and playing music and dancing at the fey gatherings.

Forms: (In order of appearance from left to right)

Autumn form: This is the form she takes in response to feeling goodwill, contentment, peace and generosity towards others. 

Winter form: this form is taken in response to stress, depression, greif and sadness.

Spring form: This form is taken in response to joy and feelings of celebration. The party form, if you will.

Summer form: this form is taken in response to anger, and feelings of boldness and aggression.

Name: Miji Fukujou

Alias: Damage

Quirk: Name pending...but you can find info on it here.

Hair: Metallic grey

Eyes: bright mint.

Personality: Miji has a habit of smiling regardless of how he’s feeling in an effort to cheer himself up. When around others, at the start of things he tends to withdraw, look down, and attempt to hide his face and messed up parts of his body. When he get’s older, however, he stops hiding the results of his quirk, feeling more “free” and finding confidence in his newfound role as a villian. Despite harsh treatment from peers and the trauma he’s had to deal with, he was a friendly, if withdrawn kid in his early teens. Often going out of his way to help those he noticed who where having a difficult time, and more often then not getting berated for being “nosy” and never thanked.

In his older teens, however, while comparatively not the most merciless villain, his upbringing under two heroes is only evident in the twisted sense of honor he has when fighting. Never attacking from behind, and focusing attacks on heroes, rarely if ever engaging civilians unless they they have weapons. He’s that criminal who may help the tired mother get her groceries inside, but not hesitate if he get’s a job to kill that same women later.  His beef is against heroes, not normal folks, but a job’s a job.

Bio: 

Miji was born the child of two small-time heroes. One of his parents had a restoration quirk, while the other had a quirk that increased their strength according too how hard they were hit/how much damage they took. These two quirks combined into his own, however, Miji’s parents were very doting and protective, and as Miji didn’t get injured much if at all as a child, his quirk remained unknown...

...until one very fateful day.

Miji and his parents were kidnapped by a pair of villians too strong for the small-time heroes to handle. The family was tied up in a warehouse with a timebomb that was slowly ticking down. This was done as a message to heroes, and unknown to the family, the event was infact streamed live on several cameras throughout the warehouse, broadcasted to the various hero headquarters. 

Still, while the bomb ticked down, the villians who had captured them continued to run around, causing chaos and leaving clues to the family’s location...however, assuming the heroes could save themselves and that the brazen villian pair was too dangerous for them to split their attention between the family and the villians, no hero came to the family’s aid. The clock ticked down, and the parents were able to just barely loosen their restraints enough to throw themselves over Miji as the bomb went off. Their last and final act being to protect their son. However, the bomb was still too strong, and had it not been for his quirk, Miji would have died from his injuries that day. But because of it, he was spared...and while the camera’s were knocked out from the explosion, perhaps one or two from where they lay broken on the ground caught the image of a young boy climbing out from under burnt corpses and rubble. Shakily limping off to the side. 

He was found by the police who later came to investigate the scene...still silent and shaking, staring at the bundle of bodies that were not long before his loving family...and asked a cop what was wrong...he’d been waiting but one parent wasn’t healing and the other stayed down instead of jumping up, stronger then before. Why weren’t they getting up...? They always got up before...nothing brought them down...nothing...

...but this did. 

Miji was moved to fostercare, and resumed school shortly after...but while his quirk had healed him, he remained...burned looking. Infact, his quirk had terribly discolored his skin, and took the color from the hair that grew back. His entire body now in constant pain, and his sleep plagued with nightmares from the trauma and the pain of the explosion revisiting him. His eyes, even his one normal one becoming sunken from lack of sleep. His schoolmates barely recognized him, and his strange, even grotesque appearance led to him being teased and harassed. The harassment only escalating when it became known that his quirk healed him, leaving no evidence of violence on his small frame, and allowing them to get away with worse, and thus enact worse bullying upon him. Despite all this, Miji still attempted to make friends before withdrawing entirely into himself. Focusing on playing with action figures of heroes, and deciding to become a hero. To make his parents proud, and honor their memory, and perhaps even once again be accepted by his peers. 

Going from foster home to foster home, finding himself rejected and alone almost everywhere he went, Miji only became more and more determined...becoming a hero became his whole world. Only for that world to come crashing down when the boy, now in middleschool, learned the truth of that one tragic night. That the heroes knew, but none had come. That all he had been through, lost and suffered was not only on the villians who did the deed, but on the “heroes” he once so praised standing by idly. The one hope he’d had and clung to dashed, Miji succumbed to the physical and mental strain he was under. He developed an dependency on strong pain killers in order to cope with the pain his quirk leaves, and attempted to take his own life on a few occasions only for his quirk to save him. Even still, when he found a classmate crying, he could not leave her alone, and did his best to help her. This was how he met Chumki...

He hadn’t expected Chu to come to his aid when he attempted to jump from the school rooftop. Not at all. She even began hanging out with him, the two becoming close friends, and she even managed to push him into swearing that he wouldn’t die without her permission. A silly promise between friends he agreed to, having realized that he now had one person, at least, who would cry over him.

As time wears on, Miji’s despair turns to blame, and then resentment and hatred towards heroes in general, and while Chu moves on to attend UA, Miji instead begins provoking stronger individuals to attack him, gaining strength and pain, becoming more and more a monster as he bides his time. 

Yet, Chu remains convinced that the boy she knew is in there, somewhere...under the mutated, warped skin.

Yeeeeah so I doodled some rough concepts for this child today in a failed attempt at a bnha-ish style. X’D

ANYWHOOS... Everyone meet Miji Fukujou!^^

The kanji for his name basically translates “Too constantly restore and strengthen oneself”. His last name/family name, Fukujou means “To constantly restore”, and his family is full of restoration quirk users. (One of which likely had their quirks taken by All for One). Due to his other parent, however, his quirk is...along that vein but very different.

“Back and Better” is just a temporary placeholder name until I come up with a better one...but his quirk is quite a literal take on “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. As long as he isn’t instantly killed, or die right away from a wound or injury, damaged or removed parts of him are restored/regrown stronger, tougher, and more efficient then they were before. Plus, since his quirk doesn’t turn off and his body is constantly restoring itself, it is possible that after a certain point, he will physically stop aging, and may even live forever much like Wolverine. It’s a strong quirk, but the drawbacks are...not fun.

1. The pain of the wound/injury never completely goes away. Ever. Part of it stays...and the new area has even more sensitive nerves beneath the toughness, and thus, will only be even MORE painful for him when damaged or removed. 

2.”Phantom pains” from removed parts will hit him at random, and at while sleeping, causing him to relive the pain of losing those parts, and often make him wake up screaming. He struggles with insomnia because of this.

3. Restored and regrown areas look less and less “human” everytime they are restored or regrown...and so are causing is appearance to become more and more monstrous with every battle he’s in.

4. The more of him his quirk restores the more he needs to eat afterwards t regain that spent energy.

5. He may live forever. In this state of constant pain. With his body slowly turning more and more terrifying.

Honestly I tried to make this blog my art only but that seems to be boring...I’ll make a more professional portfolio for my work on a separate site. XD

I’ve gotten a lot of new followers of late but I don’t ave many and I have no life so MY DUDES.

Whoop whoop!^^ I used pictures of tibetan mastiffs and wolves as referances, and doodles a quick referance for Ner’s Doggo form/ what he turns into when his quirk, Canis Major is active.^^

Ner’s massive doggo form is  roughly 7.5 feet long (not counting tail) and 4 feet tall at the shoulder. From what I figure, he’s about 600 pounds of pure muscle and floof, and big enough/strong enough to carry folks on his back.

Transforming into massive doggo tends to destroy most clothes he wears...with the exception of his costume...once I design it. XD

Ner’s  design has been one I’ve been incredibly proud of for awhile and rebooting him for bnha has been p danged FUN. XD Chu’s new though, and I already love her.^^

Name: Ner Ophois

Quirk: Canis Major

Age: 17 (at the start)

Height: 8 freaking feet. VERY BIG BOI.

Quirk Info: Ner’s Canis Major quirk is a combination of his mother’s quirk, (which turns her into a teacup Pomeranian), and his father’s Quirk, Moon Phase (Which increases his physical ability as the moon waxes, and decreases it as it wanes, and does the reverse regarding his senses. Meaning that he’s at his physical peak under a full moon and his senses are at their peak under a new moon). Ner takes after the “Full Moon” aspect of his father’s ability, being in excellent physical form, and quite large, only to match his father when under a full moon when using his Canis Major Quirk. Once Canis Major is activated, Ner turns into a massive red and gold wolf-dog, being roughly 7.5 feet in length, and 4 feet tall at the shoulder.  Ner’s senses, while naturally stronger then a normal humans, however, are unchanged.

Drawback: Like many transformation quirks, Canis Major cannot be active for an extended period of time. Shortly after 15 minutes, Ner begins slowly losing his more “human” thought processes, leaving behind only animal-like thoughts and instincts. While he can recover as long as he deactivates his quirk or is knocked out while still retaining some humanity, for every minutes over 15 minutes it takes him 30 minutes to an hour to recover from. While recovering, he is unable to speak, and basically acts like a big dumb dog.

If he does not deactivate his quirk before losing his humanity, he is unable to turn back, and “Ner”, the person, as we know him, will be lost entirely.

Additional Facts: 

-Ner and his family escaped their home countries and lived in Europe for several years as refugees. Having spent his childhood in a place of war, violence, and discrimination, Ner is not only hugely ANTI-discrimination, but since his childhood, has wanted to be a hero who brought peace, with the strength to end the bloody chaos in his homeland. His dream brought he and his family to Japan where he now attends UA.

-Ner’s quirk causes him to be entirely carnivorous, and he is unable to digest most non-meat foods properly if at all. Eating veggies in particular can give him terrible stomach problems.

-Ner is deathly allergic to chocolate.

-Ner get’s his glowing golden eyes from his father, and his hair from his mother. His skin, however, is due to a thin layer of dark red fur covering his body, and him having very dark skin underneath.

-Ner’s father looks like a werewolf/wolfman, but his mother is a very petite, sweet and energetic women.

-When terribly injured, Ner tends to transform instinctively, but cannot utilize reason very well, instead behaving in a very primal like manner, and essentially going berserk and attacking anyone or anything nearby unless knocked out or otherwise calmed. 600 lbs of frightened, injured muscular doggo does not a fun time make.

-He is huge, and his size and appearance make him intimidating...but in truth, he is a very calm, polite, and caring sweetheart. He is simply very quiet, and his face is not the most expressive.

-The Constellation his quirk is named after has interesting mythologies; While greek mythology has the constellation in honor of a hunting dog who was so swift and strong he could catch any prey, in Chinese mythology, Canis Major is thought to be “The Celestial Wolf”. 

Name: Chumki “Chu” Ophois

Quirk: Canis Minor

Age: 14 (at the start)

Height: 5,3

Quirk Info: While Ner’s quirk takes after the “full moon” aspect of their father’s “Moon Phase” quirk, Chu’s takes after the “New Moon” aspect of it, giving her incredibly enhanced senses once she transforms (Which in her case just looks like a sparkly blue/black wolf-dog furry). However, much like her brother is large and strong outside of his transformation, Chu’s senses can be enhanced outside of this form, but are limited to her only being able to enhance one at a time, and in order to do so, must shut off another of her 5 senses. When in her furrier form, Chu is able to keep all senses on full, or turn off and on senses as she needs them in order to prevent her senses from getting overwhelmed, but if surprised by a sudden loud noise, overwhelming smell, or a lot of pain, will not be able to do so in time. 

Drawback: Her furrier form has a similar limitation to Ner’s, only she only hold it for 10 minutes before beginning to lose herself to her canine instincts. She dislikes this sensation immensely, and often refuses to take her furrier form except in the most extreme of situations. Likewise, whatever her form, if whatever sense that is heightened get’s overwhelmed, Chu can suffer splitting migraines for hours after, and if multiple enhanced senses are overwhelmed, All of Chu’s senses instinctively turn off, putting her in a temporary state of being unable to feel, hear, see, smell, or taste anything at all for several minutes. This is notably terrifying, and another reason why she dislikes her transformation.

Additional Facts:

-While unlike Ner, Chu can eat anything a normal person can (although needs more protein and iron in her diet then most people), But is infact Nocturnal, making her sleepy and lazy during daylight hours, and causing her to fall asleep quiet a bit in school.

-Chu is incredibly intelligent, and always looking for new, interesting things or challenges...when without any of these, she get’s easily bored and often begins causing trouble, or just napping, depending on the time of day.

-She can use her quirk to enhance her hearing enough to hear the heartbeat and breathing of someone, and tell if they’re lying.

-Chu pretends that she doesn’t remember anything from the war torn country she was born in on account of being too young, but her intelligent, keen mind remembers quite a few details she wishes she could forget.

-Chu’s love of mental challenges causes her to love mystery novels and puzzles, and she’d like to take up a detective-esc/investigative career. Whether or not that leads her to join her brother in UA is unknown.

-Chu’s eyes are actually silver, but their faint glow often makes them look pink. Her eye color is inherited from her mother, while her hair is a lightly brighter shade her her father’s blue-black fur. Additionally, while using his quirk under a full moon, Chu and Ner’s father’s fur glows white, but when under a New Moon, his fur does glimmer as if full of stars...Chu inherited this. (Her freckles also come from her mother but her’s do softly glow)

-The constellation sharing the name of Chu’s quirk is named after has several interesting mythologies; In greek myth, the constellation is in honor of a dog who’s master was murdered, leading the dog to end it’s own life in despair. In Egyptian mythology, however, Canis Minor is affiliated with Anubis, the god of the underworld, who brings souls through the halls of truth, and weighs their hearts, giving them their final judgement. Anubis is also depicted as a black African wolf (commonly mistaken for a Jackal), and wears a blue headress, explaining her blueish hair.

-”Ophois” is a variant pronunciation of the Egyptian deity: Wepwawet, a war deity, who, much like Anubis, was depicted with the head of a wolf or dog, but while Anubis was associated with black, Wepwawet was often depicted as a white wolf/dog. The two deities were thought to have been combined at some point in Egyptian history, however their are some myths of Wepwawet being the son of Anubis. The “white” and “black” deities are tied into their father’s appearance under full/new moons, as well as his two very different children, and Wepwawet being a war deity, and Anubis being a death deity connects to the war and death their family escaped.

I finished this commission for my friend, Sean Campbell, last night! He’s the writer for an amazing comic called “The Ferryman”. It’s crowd-funding campaign finished awhile back, but the information can be found here.

It’s an excellent Sci-fy mystery featuring a future where the dead are uploaded into a virtual afterlife...but one day, the uploaded dead begin coming back to life, and it’s up the the main character, a “Ferryman” charged with downloading and uploading the dead to uncover the truth.

Sadly, I had a commission to finish so the birthday sketch I want to do for Pompadorkery’s oc Sanka is...gonna be late. X’D
