Two decades ago, the Evermore King purged the Faerie Queen and her folk from the realm of Eiros, a two-mooned world entwined to Earth by hidden portals. A small band of refugees made off with an infant Daniele—the Queen's heir—and settled on Earth, far from magic and the usurper's influence. The Kingdom of Anthonos is gone, but the land unclaimed: torrential flora, wily bloomfolk, a plague that halted magic, and the schemes of a rebellion divide the continent. On the eve of Daniele's return, rumours spread about the birth of a new Oracle, a divine being sired from the heavens. In the deserts to the East, a princess haunted by prophetic dreams seeks to escape her fanatical family's empire. And along the lawless coast, a sellsword and a sorcerer hunt the culprit behind a devastating betrayal, and a child of destiny. Hollowed, with no desire for vengeance, Daniele becomes entrapped in the war-struck lands she always longed for, a reluctant witness to atrocities that continued long after the faerie slaughter. If she wants to return home or restore her homeland, Daniele must embrace her heritage and seek allies, or rot in the shadows until the dreaded King comes.

A vain, ill-tempered, and entitled young woman with little care for the plights of the refugees she governs, nor the world that harboured her safely. Tasked with scavenging her home-realm for exotic plants and bloomfolk willing to defect back to her sanctum on Earth.
Oberon Evermore
The Crown Prince of Lynsopholes, the kingdom that conquered the faeries in an indiscriminate massacre. A young boy of only ten years, Oberon has never glimpsed the kind his father slaughtered, though he closely follows in his footsteps, a squire to the King's once formidable general.
Evey Hadosin
A princess of an invading nation whose prophetic dreams have haunted her since birth. Blessed by the Harbinger, a God sealed away in a pocket realm clamoring to return to the heavens and re-establish his rule over the pantheon that betrayed him. Once permitted to leave the confines of the palace, Evey longs to shed her terrible burden and leave the empire behind forever.

A kindhearted sellsword travelling the lawless coast with a sorcerer in search of answers for an evil undone to him just five years prior. In the service of a secretive nation and its vast whisper networks, Arek quickly becomes entangled in a rippling political scheme involving a child who bears half the heart of an ancient wyrm.
